TECHNICAL MANAGER – THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced Technical / Operations Manager to join the team and lead the activities of managing the portfolio of assets, as well as overseeing the construction of new projects in the portfolio, operating as Owners Engineer:

You will likely be an experienced technical engineer with knowledge and experience of the large-scale onshore wind energy industry in the UK, especially the wind turbine OEM’s. Knowledge and experience of other renewable technologies will be beneficial (solar/biomass/AD/energy storage/backup generation).

  The role will involve:

Monitoring and reporting of the operational assets including regular on-site visits.

Oversight owner responsibilities on all projects.

Supervising O&M contractors and theirs sub-contractors.

Management of new projects through the development phase to financial close, construction, commissioning and operation.

Lead technical responsibility during bidding and due diligence processes on new projects/assets.
