Sheila N. Turnbull Weds Thomas Brown
Miss Sheila Margaret Turn-bull was married to Thomas Walker Brown at noon, on May 27, at the Christ and Holy Trinity Church, Westport, Conn, by Rev. Dana Forrest Kennedy.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Forster Turnbull of Westport and the late Mrs. Anne Kirby Turnbull. The bridgegroom is the son of Mrs. Thomas Mott Brown of Bronxville and the late Mr. Brown.
The bride is a graduate of La-sell Junior College, Auburndale, Mass.
Mr. Brown is a graduate of Mitchell College and attended Washington University, St. Louis, Mo. He served two years with the United States Navy and is presently associated with the Liberty Mutual Insurance Company in New York City.
Miss Turnbull was given away in marriage by her father. She wore a formal gown of imported embroidered silk organza detailed with guiperre appliques. Her shoulder length veil was attached to a w i n g e d bow of matching material.
The reception followed at the Cobbs Mill Inn, Weston, Coruu
Miss Carole Turnbull of New York City served as maid of honor for her sister. The bridesmaids were Miss Jacqueline Anne Turnbull of Westport and Mrs. Kenneth Collins of Engle-wood Cliffs, N. J.
F . William Marshall of Boston, Mass. was the best man. The ushers were Robert E. Small of New York City and Peter E. Lindvall of Chicago.
After a wedding trip to Jamaica, the couple will reside in Manhattan.

Miss La Vine Weds James M. Coogan
Miss Carol Anne La Vine, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Nettleton La Vine of Forest Hills, was married May 20 to James Matthew Coogan, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Coogan of 41 Dellwood Circle, Bronxville.
The bride was given in marriage by her father at a nuptial mass celebrated at 11 a.m. in the Roman Catholic Church of Our Lady of Mercy, Forest Hills. A reception and wedding breakfast followed in the Starlight Gardens of the International Hotel at John F. Kennedy Airport.
The bride wore an empire gown of white silk linen ap-pliqued with guipure lace, a matching train, and a headpiece made of a guipure lace crown and French illusion veiling. Her bouquet was of white orchids,-stephanotis and phalaenopis!
Miss Linda Joan La Vine, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. The other attendants were Miss Barbara Coogan, sister of the bridegroom, Miss Sheila Stapleton, Miss Verna Kopec and Mrs. John Walzer. They wore apple blossom pink silk linene empire gowns.
James McErlane was best" man. Ushers were Kenneth N. La Vine Jr., brother of the bride, John Cunningham, William Losquadro and Lawrence Keary.

The bride is a graduate of Notre Dame School, New York, and of Marymount College, Arlington, Va. She attended Columbia School of Nursing, was graduated by the Mandle School for Medical Assistants and is a medical technologist at Union Carbide corporation, New York.
She was presented in 1962 at the de Marillac Cotillion, Garden City. Mrs. Coogan is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Dailey of New York and Rochester and of Mrs. Louis L. La Vine, Forest Hills, and the late Mr. La Vine. Her father is a partner in the law firm of Curits, Mallet-Prevost, Colt and Mosle, New York.
Mr. Coogan is a 1964 graduate- of Iona College, New Roch-elle. Earlier this month he received his doctorate of law degree frrjm the Vilianova University School of Law, Vilianova. Pa., where he was treasurer of the Student Bar Association! He is joining the Yonkers law firm of Griffin and O'Hara. His father is president of James Coogan Incorporated, Westchester meat distributors.

daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. Buccheri of 9 Central Drive, Bronxville, was a model at a spring fashion show sponsored by the Berkeley School, White Plains.
Students at the Berkeley School modeled their own clothes to illustrate proper attire for various occasions.
Miss Buccheri is a 1966 graduate of Tuckahoe High School.

After a wedding trip to St. Johns in the Virgin Islands, the couple will reside in Bronxville.
Mrs. Garfield, Mrs. La Rome To Address Bronxville Colony
The last meeting of the season of The Bronxville Colony of the National Society of New England Women will be held on Monday, June 5, at 1 p.m. in the home of Mrs. Stephen Bennis in Old Greenwich, Conn.
Mrs. Chester A. Garfield, president of the Bronxville Colony, has recently returned from the Congress held at the Eastern Slope Inn in North Conway, N. H. She will review to members the reports and amendments passed by the National Board.
Mrs. Harold K. LaRome will speak on "Women of the Bible". Mrs. La Rome and her husband, m e m b e r s of the Reformed Church, have helped in setting up the Library in the Church and have aided in implementing its present system. The theme of Mrs. LaRome's speech
will be the influence women have had, as wives and mothers, upon the lives of their husbands and sons.
The Bronxville Society of New England Women will resume its activities for the season of 1967-68 in October with a varied program of cultural and religious subjects.
Mrs. Bennis, who will be hostess for the June 5 meeting, is president of the Greenwich Colony of New England Women.

Miss Anderson is a graduate of the Univeysity of Minnesota and is employed as a bacteriologist with the State Board of Health.
Mr. Cleghorn, a 1965 graduate of Colby College, Waterville, Maine, is-attending the University of Minnesota where he expects to receive a master of science degree this summer from the university's graduate School of Physics.

Mr. and Mrs. George Mon-traville Davenport of Parkton, Md. announce the engagement of their daughter, Miss Elizabeth Hay Davenport, to Alfred Gordon Goodykoontz, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Owen Goodykoontz of 20 North Road, Bronxville.
Miss Davenport, a graduate of Garrison Forest S c h o o l and Mary Baldwin College, made her debut in 1962 at The Carolina Assembly and the Saint Cecelia Ball in Charleston,. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mr». S. Marion Hay of Charleston and the late Mr. and Mrs. George Montraville Davenport of Birmingham, Ala.
Mr. Goodykoontz is the grandson of the late Dr. and Mrs. J. Gordon Rennie of Petersburg, Va., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Farmer Goodykoontz of Radford, Va. He is an alumnus of the Virginia Polytechnic Institute, '62 and the Graduate School of Business of the University of Virginia, '66 A lieutenant in the Army Reserve, he is now employed by Humble Oil and Refining Company in Gas-tonia, N. C.

Eastchester Woman's Club
The Duplicate Bridge section of the Woman's Club of Eastchester held its annual lunch and bridge at the Bronxville Field Club on Tuesday May 23.
Seventy-six women attended and after lunch nineteen tables were in play. Winners of the an-naul awards were announced: First, Mrs. William Hambright and Mrs. S. Gabriel Hurely, Eastchester; S e c o n d , Mrs. Raphael Bellantoni and Mrs.. Charles Gfeller. Eastchester; tied for third were Miss Irene Korndorfer, Scarsdale and Mrs. Egon Kleinman, Eastchester also Mrs. Anthony Battista and Mrs. Joseph Saviano, Tuckahoe.
Mrs. Bazil Brown, outgoing chairman, announced the appointment of Mrs. Charles Gfeller to fill the position. Anyone wishing to join the group is urged to contact Mrs. Gfeller.

PHNO Plans Annual Meeting
The T h i r t y-Fourth annual meeting of the Public Health Nursing Organization of Eastchester, Inc., will be held on June 13, 1967, at 8 p.m. at Palmer Hall, Bronxville.
Dr. Albert Sobol, psychologist at Children's Village, will spaek on changes in m e n t a l health care of children as seen at Children's Village. Developments in this field are increasingly matters of public concern.
James Reid will continue as president of the PHNO board for 1967-68, and Warren Lacke will be installed as /the new Vice-President of the board.

Nurses, one Licensed Practical Nurse, one Registered Physical Therapist and two part-time Home Health Aides. The new Home Health Aide program, made possible by the Bronxville League for Service, has widened the scope of service made available by PHNO to the community of Eastchester, Tuckahoe, Bronxville and adjacent Yonkers.
A growing number of patients on all economic levels are becoming aware of the many facets of these services offered by PHNO as an indispensable aid to the doctor who gives the order and the patient who receives the care. Besides bedside care and physical therapy, PHNO conducts a well-baby clinic and, with the help of the Bronxville League for Service, a dental clinic for pre-school children. Class, es are taught to new mothers at Lawrence Hospital and items such as crutches and wheel chairs are ready for loan.
