VIBRATION HANGER- Series SH #36
□ SHS-6 through SHW-2-1628
□ Carbon Steel & Neoprene Washer
□ Bare Metal
□ Series SH hangers provide excellent vibration isolation for
suspended piping and equipment. They incorporate a
colour coded steel spring for ease of identification in the
field. Load ranges from 21 lb to 5000 lb and up to 5 inches
of static deflection offer a wide variety of choices to insure
proper support.
□ Series SH hangers shall consist of a colour-coded steel spring with a
neoprene and steel washer which will properly distribute the load on thespring. For 30° misalignment capability, spring diameters and hanger box
lower hole sizes shall be of sufficient size to permit the hanger rod to swing
approximately 30° before contacting the box. Springs shall have a minimum
additional travel to solid equal to 50% of the rated deflection.
