ABOUT THE PRESENTER.
B Admin Public and Municipal Administration
He started his career in 1982 at the Department of Transport, Roads and Public Works and
finished on a Deputy Director Level. He was a head of Procurement Office in the Treasury
and responsible for training in Supply Chain Management of all Departments in the Free
State.
He presented various workshops for the National Department of Public Works on Preferential
Procurement Regulations, Bid Committees and the application thereof. He is also an expert
in the application of the CIDB Act.
He is consulting internationally, for Southern Business School in African Countries. He is a
lecturer for Public Supply Chain Management as part of the Management Development
Programme at the Free State University.
He is accredited with NSG and the National Treasury as a Facilitator for the Management
Development program for Public Sector. He is also responsible for the development of
training material for the National Treasury to be used in training programmes for NSG.
He is an expert on Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management and Inventory and
stores management. He is also a well-known presenter in the field of Public Management
and Municipal Financial Management.
He presents courses for municipalities on behalf of the DEVELPOMENT BANK OF SOUTH
AFRICA and various training institutes.
