Founded in 1982 by Julian Berkeley, second son of Sir Lennox Berkeley, Musician and Composer, Berkeley Guard continues to be a family owned business today.In 2006, Berkeley Guard purchased Burglarm Security of Romsey and from then the Berkeley Guard Group was formed.

Berkeley Guard Group installs and maintains approved security systems throughout London and southern England. Each system is designed specifically for the property, an on-Site Survey is strongly recommended. The Survey and Risk Assessment is entirely free of charge and normally takes between 30 and 60 minutes and offers a good opportunity to discuss your personal requirements. At the survey you will be looked after by one of our engineers who will provide an honest review of your security from a business which has specialised in looking after customers and their homes and businesses for over 38 years!

The Texecom Premier Elite range provides effective and highly reliable state of the art hard-wired, wireless and hybrid solutions for your home. Our systems are also pet tolerant and come with user friendly menus and full English text display.

Smart Home Texecom Connect comes with an App for IOS and Android allowing you to set and unset your system remotely, receive a notification when someone enters their user code into the system and get warnings of system activations. Smart plugs let you control mains powered devices and lamps from your phone – you can set up ‘recipes’ in the App to determine when such devices switch on and off. Everything is cloud based so the App is accessible on the move and software updates for your system and the App itself can be easily downloaded. What’s more you will receive a regular complimentary health report for your system by email.

Texecom Premier Elite control systems incorporate the very latest cutting-edge technology including an upload/download facility (between your alarm system and our office) by broadband when using Texecom Connect or Emizon dual-path remote signalling.

Entry Systems

We install both networked and standalone Gira, Videx, Comlit and Entryphone video and audio systems, with flush or surface mount door stations and standard handsets or handsfree monitors. Each system has the option for remote release of the controlled door(s). There are system dependant options for Apps and remote viewing if required.

Safes & GunCupboards

We have a large selection of gun cupboards and cash and valuables safes from small domestic ‘mini vaults’ to any size of Euro Grade 1-5. We provide a simple pre-delivery questionnaire/survey to help you determine your needs and therefore the safe you require. Digital and/or mechanical locking is available on most safes.

Fire Alarms

As a BAFE (British Approvals For Fire Equipment) approved company, we supply, install and maintain both cabled conventional and addressable and wire-free Fire Alarms systems to BS5839-6:2019 for domestic properties.

The installation of fire systems in occupied premises can be very disruptive and unsightly. Where a hard-wired system is impracticable, we install EMS wire free systems.Building contractors often install fire alarm systems during refurbishment to comply with building regulations. The problems start when contractors have left and there is no ongoing maintenance or help offered. We can provide the support and advice required. We offer maintenance on all types of fire systems to protect your home & business.

Fire RiskAssessments

The Fire Safety Order 2005 places a legal obligation on owners of commercial property to carry out a Fire Risk Assessments. The need for a Fire Risk Assessment also applies to multiple occupancy properties and sometimes domestic properties where there is a high risk or an insurance or Building Regulations requirement. We have our own Fire Safety And Risk Management Assessor trained at the Fire Service College. Call our office or email us for more information.

CCTV

We install the very latest IP systems where visual and audio content can be viewed locally and over the web via Apple, Windows and Android Apps. NSI Gold Accreditation for these systems gives you the assurance of a properly installed, maintained, certified systems.

Closed Circuit Television Systems (CCTV) are one of the growth areas of the security industry and form part of most serious commercial security strategies. They are increasingly used for the protection of staff

as well as the property. Working closely with our partners Dahua we will provide a system unique to your requirements using a variety of static pan, tilt and zoom (PTZ), low light, starlight and thermal digital cameras as appropriate. We provide digital recording and monitoring equipment with an appropriate data storage capacity.
