How I Add Fresh, Organic Vegetables

To My Dogs’ Diet

Ingredients(all produce is organic— recipe is for 4 big

dogs)Bone Broth w/Turmeric2 bunches of carrots w/greens1 bunch of celery1 bunch of parsley1 bunch of kale1 bunch of spinach or collard greens4-5 small zucchini2-3 broccoli florets1-2 inches of ginger root1-2 apples

1 small container of blueberries2 cups Flora4 by Carna42 cups In Clover Connectin2 cups green lipped mussel powder1/2 cup of Olewo Beets (optional)1/4 cup ground kelp1 tbsp local raw honey1/4 cup Braggs apple cider vinegar

Equipment(what I use to make my veggie mix)

Crockpot4 8-quarter stainless steel bowls2 mixing spoons2 ladlesNutriBullet

Chef’s knivesCutting board13-15 freezer safe Rubbermaid containersMeasuring cups and spoons

Bone BrothUse bones with cartilage are best; stew bones will work too.1 tsp (per gallon of water) of apple cider vinegar to bring out minerals from boneCount the number of bones you’ll have as you're adding to crockpot; add enough water to cover bones.Cook for 20-24 hours.Add 2-3 tbsp turmeric and black pepper mix 10 minutes before bone broth is finished.When cool, remove and discard bones. Don’t discard the meat.

Produce PrepHydrated Olewo 1/4 of Olewo Beets per stainless steel bowl (2 bowls)Chop up veggies and puree in NutriBullet; add to 3rd stainless steel bowlWhen finished, mix veggies into Olewo Beets (50% per bowl)

Making Your Veggie Mix

Mix bone broth into the bowls with the veggies and Olewo BeetsNote, when you use Olewo Beets, your mix will be burgundy and not greenAdd supplements (optional)Distribute into Rubbermaid containers; let sit for 2-3 hours, then freeze

Adding to Dog FoodI add 3-4 tablespoons of the veggie mix to each of my dogs meals, except green tripe or Darwin’s Pet raw dog food.Experiment with the mix to find the right amount for your dog.
