The KE2 Flash Drive now provides Data Logging for your KE2 LDA communication device.

These fields are included in the log for each device,

where applicable:

The KE2 Flash Drive provides the ability to: Keep 366 days of data, for up to 10 devices Set the interval from 5 minutes to 24 hours between data points, allowing the user to customize their data for their spe-cific requirements.

Run reports for any individual controller, or for all controllers Data logging for KE2 Therm’s Ethernet and MODBUS controllers

Important!The user interface for logging will only show up if a KE2 Flash Drive is plugged into the KE2 LDA communication device.

The KE2 LDA must be upgraded to version 1.1.0, or newer, for data logging.

From the moment the KE2 Flash Drive is connected to the KE2 LDA, the first 10 auto-populated devices, will begin logging.

Changing which controllers are logged is made from the KE2 LDA Management Console.

The devices must be visible on the KE2 LDA dashboard in or-der to be recorded. The logging interval is also set in the KE2 LDA Management Console and can range from 5 minutes to 24 hours.

It should be noted that the KE2 Flash Drive’s logging capability is not designed for diagnostics, but rather for audit purposes. As such, a limited range of pre-set values are logged including Room Temp Setpoint, Room Temp, and the Time Stamp. The log-ging interval must be a minimum of five minutes.

All logs are periodically output to CSV files on the USB drive, and the CSV files are stored indefinitely.

To enable logging from the LDA Management Console, click the Manage button.

Then use the check box on the right side. By default, a new record will be logged for each selected controller every 10 minutes, but the interval can be edited by the user.

The button to “Download All Logs” will download all avail-able logs in the database.

Upon connecting to the KE2 LDA Dashboard, the buttons for downloading logs are on the right side :

The “Logs” button will bring up a dialog to download logs for a specific controller, in a given date range.

The previous 30 days is the de-fault date interval, but the user can change this as desired.
