Govt has totally failed: PCC Excelsior Correspondent JAMMU, Oct 22: Ashok Kumar, former MLA and Spokesman JKPCC has said that BJP-PDP Goverment is totally failure in the State in safeguard- ing the rights and giving justice to the people. BJP's and National Conference main agenda is only to divide people on the basis of communal ideas and religion to gain short term benefits in State. BJP is specially expert in creat- ing such type of atmosphere where every citizen of India is not safe and living under pres- sure in everyday life. Ashok further said that Ghulam Nabi Azad MP and Ex- Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir State had given us peaceful atmosphere for devel- opment during his tenure as CM. However, today there are no peaceful milieu. Development is just like a hollow and empty structure from last three years. Ashok further said that BJP is only promoting false pro- poganda from last three years, they have not provided us even a single primary/MS/HS school in Ramban district. "The resignation of Vikramaditya Singh from PDP has raised question mark on the functioning of the Government and its intention has come under question mark. The Government which was expected to work for all three regions equally has been allegedly dividing the State with its divisive policies," he alleged. In a press statement, Rana said that PDP-BJP Government has created a divide among the regions and it has given rise to mistrust in all the regions. "Communal politics in Jammu has further widened the gaps between the two regions which remained dependent eco- nomically and socially on each other since centuries," said Rana. "Recently, tourists, and non- locals were caught by the vigi- lantes in parts of Kashmir sus- pecting them as braid choppers. People have started taking law in their hands because there is no Government on ground and Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti has lost complete control over her Government," he alleged. He said that BJP has taken over the charge of Jammu divi- sion, while Kashmir given to PDP, which shows that the par- ties themselves have divided the States for their political gains and lust for power. He appealed all the legisla- tors from PDP to submit their resignation before it is too late like Vikramditya and work for the united Jammu and Kashmir. "In last three years, this Government has created cracks and these divisions have given rise to many issues like demand for revoking of Art 35A, Art 370 and many other things," he said. The ruling parties have created divisions for their own gains. There is no development in Jammu. Unemployment has increased and farmers have been suffering badly,” he said. He said that the developmen- tal projects which were started by the Congress Government in the past are facing ignorance from the present Government. “BJP has forced officials to stop working on the developmental works which were initiated by the Congress Govt and don’t allow the work to complete,” he alleged.
