In 1987 Thermokon Sensortechnik GmbH in
Mittenaar was founded by Harald Zygan. Thermokon
started with the production of special sensors for
the heating industry. Over the years, the product
line was extended by air-quality, humidity, light and
occupancy sensors.
Capitalising on new innovative technologies and
their fast realization are always the supporting
pillars of a company. Thus, Thermokon was able to

EasySens – Wireless and Batteryless Sensor System>
For the fi rst time, the building control technology is
experiencing a comprehensive product line of sensors
and receivers making it possible to build up wireless
and maintenance-free sensors within buildings. By
integrating innovative, solar-powered wireless
transmission technology based on the EnOcean
standard, the devices are operating without batteries.
Thus, they are maintenance-free and working at any
place.
At the moment, various devices are available for
temperature monitoring, detection of relative
humidity, light detection, set point adjustment and
status detection. The current product range is
continuously extended to offer a complete programme
for additional physical variables and applications.
No Cost-Effective Wiring
As there are no time-consuming and cost-effective
wirings, EasySens is of special interest to the retrofi t
market. The wirless sensor system is specially
suitable for the fl exible extension of room sensor
systems already installed in buildings.
Also with regard to new installations the system
offers many advantages: By connecting several
sensors to one receiving node via a wireless path
considerable cabling costs are saved.
More Flexibility
The “wireless installation” offers more fl exibility with
regard to the sensor position. Thus, it is possible to
integrate room operating panels and temperature
sensors directly to the workplace. Representative
temperature detection as well comfortable on-site
operation are guaranteed, thus.
Solar-Powered – No Maintenance
Another great advantage of EasySens is that the used
RF technology has no need for batteries or external
power supply compared to other common systems.
Thus, the system becomes maintenance-free.
The battery change occurring every 2 to 3 years for
other systems does not apply.

Application
The universal wireless and batteryless switch insert fi ts in various switch programmes of different manufacturers. The base plate can be glued or screwed and thus be mounted to glass or plaster. The integration into the frame is made similar to univeral inserts for aerial sockets. No fl ush-mounting installation box needed.

Application
The room operating panel is designed for temperature detection and integrated operation of HVAC, lighting and blinds for single room control. By means of high-graded optics and the corresponding design frames made of glass or stone, the device is specially ideal for design-oriented applications.
The operating functions can be fl exibly adapted to the most different room layouts. Thus, various types with several numbers of operating buttons are available. The universal room operating panel has among others a LON interface FTT10, by which the functions of the operating buttons are made available to the LON network by standard network variables (SNVT).

For connection to control and display systems with LON interface. For temperature measuring, set point adjustment, fan stage adjustment, presence detection in living and offi ce spaces etc. and digital inputs for blind and light keys (type DI4). With integrated controller heating/cooling and digital inputs for window contact / dew point detector respectively analogue outputs for control valves (type AO2V). As a room operating panel for temperature detection and set point adjustment by 0...10V signal, without LON interface (type 2V).

Application
The ceiling multi sensor MDS is designed for occupancy and light detection in room and offi ce spaces. The measured quantity can be used for a fi xed light control by means of downstreamed dimming resistances. Optionally, the device can be supplied with an additional passive temperature sensor.
Due to the fl at construction, the device is specially suitable for an inconspicuous installation in ceilings. Depending on the type, the MDS offers different output interfaces for coupling to a building control system.

Application
CO2 sensor for detection of CO2 concentration and temperature in air ducts (type LK CO2) respectively in rooms (type WRF04 CO2).
For direct connection to a DDC or a monitoring system, there are two analogue 0-10V outputs for the CO2 concentration and temperature. If requested, the sensors can additionally be supplied with a passive temperature sensor (NTC, PTC…). All types are available with display.

In order to protect the sensors installed in our tempera-ture sensors against humidity and mechanical over-stress, they are equipped by an SI-Protection. The SI-Protection is a special fl uidized bed coating procedure with a melting epoxy powder.
By means of this protective coating our temperature sensors can be used in cold water or outdoor areas without any problems, for example.

Return of GoodsReturned products included in our product line are taken back against a 2/3 credit note, provided the goods are as good as new standard articles. Room sensors with operating elements as well as special components cannot be taken back, at all.
