As we approach yet another sale we are overwhelmed with emo-

Once in a while that heifer is born that makes you stand back and say “OHH YEA BABY???? Legacy has been that one for us since she hit the ground. We said WOW then and we are still saying WOW! She is just plain good. She hits you hard when you first look at her, she's got so much power and dimension. She is as long as a freight train, long from her hooks to her pins, extra deep in that rib shape, up headed and has a freshness that makes her so eye appealing. She also has her momma’s “swagger” and sound-ness when you study her from the ground up that makes this show heifer so darn special. I think Legacy is a total package type of heifer. You better have your mom prepared for the many back drop pictures to come and the front pasture ready for when she retires from showing. I would say she is worth making the trip to Hudson, Michigan for. She is one you want to be at the halter of.

Ellen has cow power written all over her. When you get out and study her true power and dimension from front to rear, she is totally impressive. She has that sought after baldie face and booted foot, an enormous middle, big hip and a big elephant foot to handle it all.

This is one cool marked eye appealing blue roan heifer. But she is way more than that. She’s long hipped, big topped, soggy middled and extremely sound moving. It’s the perfect combination for a show heifer and donor pen cow.

If you are looking for a cool choke necked heifer to show, look no further. Bar-bie has that super giraffe choke neck and sexy side profile that will make her stand out in the show ring. Her front shoulder is almost perfectly laid into her neck. She is long and extended from end to end. This orange and white little heifer has stole our hearts since she was born. Peo-ple who say “Market Heifers” will never make cows couldn't be more wrong. Her dam Robin was many time Champion Mar-ket Heifer for Tyler Neukom. Special “K” is just feminine enough and most defi-nitely powerful enough to run either as a market heifer or in the breeding division. She is sound underneath with a perfect balance of softness and mass. She is hard to put a hole in. Probably one of the most appealing heifers in the sale and as an added bonus she is THF and PHAF.

These Mind Bender heifers just keep get-ting better and better. Tipper has a super eye appealing show ring look with those black tipped ears and nose. She motors around, has super good hair and the com-ponents to compete in the show ring and stand out in your pasture. Consigned by S&J Cattle

Don’t be fooled by his name. He may be young and small now, but he has a lot of gas in him to make it to the end. He is made square from the ground up. Plenty of mus-cle and moves out from under him really good. When you are looking for a good solid steer, make sure you put him on your short list.

Talk about a stylish calf. This dude is just plain cool. Look at the set from his shoulder into that long slender neck. His feet and legs are sound and sol-id and his side profile is one for the backdrops. Plus he has those super shaggy ears that make you love him even more.

Perfect steer for those earlier fairs. This guy is a beast. Tree trunk legs and dinosaur feet. That big soft middle with so much mass and capacity. I am truly loving all these Mind Bend-er calves. From steers to heifers he is making them right, making them sound and making them memorable.

This past week has been both exciting with the set of calves we have put together and devastat-ing at the same time. A storm came thru a week ago and unfortunately Mind Bender was struck by lightning at the fall calving pasture.

We would like to take the time to thank everyone who has trusted and believed in Mind Bender and added him into your bull line up. We have been so happy with the quality of calves that are on the ground and are so excited to see next year’s calf crop. It was a sad day for us to lose such a strong part of our herd and his future potential as a sire.

We have a limited quantity of semen on Mind Bender. We will try to keep the cost as affordable to you as we can, however we only have so much. Saying that, please use him with confidence for color, shag, calving ease, adding belly, stretching front ends and he is outcrossed genetics.

Please text, email or call when your Mind Benders hit the ground this spring and fall. I will be on the hunt for his best calves. Please bring your tanks to the sale, we will have Mind Bender se-men for sale.
