AQUAWARE ELITE™ TESTING � Aquaware™ products are 100% quality tested at various stages

of production. � Testing begins right from the start with the raw material. The brass

is tested and certified to ensure minimal amounts of lead and trace elements.

� After the faucet body is cast, it is pressurized with air and immersed in water to check for leaks. We use air because it will find small imperfections in the casting that water tests alone may miss. After machining, the bodies are tested again with the same procedure.

� Next, the assembled bodies are put through a series of tests using water to ensure they function properly.

� Before final packaging, our engineers run additional pressure tests using precision scientific equipment.

THE VALUE OF NSF LISTING � U.S. Safe Drinking Water Act requires faucets to meet the lead

requirements of NSF/ANSI Standard 61. � All Kason faucets and pre-rinse assemblies are certified by NSF

International to this standard. � NSF is the premier, independent, third-party certifier of products

affecting public health safety, fitness for use and environmental quality.

� NSF is accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and the Standards Council of Canada (SCC).

� NSF product certification to Annex G (low lead content) takes into consideration the worst-case potentials for lead content. This is achieved by incorporating the maximum lead content potential for each component and is determined through the material specification used.
