During the month of January, the Managing Committeeplaced inflatable Slides, Jumping Castle and Trampoline,in the Garden area at Main Club, which is an addedattraction for the Kids.

The Publication Committee has initiated the kids cornerin the magazine, by starting a Painting Competition,which will continue during the year. Other interactiveactivities are also being planned for members of all ages,which will be communicated from time to time.

After a long wait of 2 years Karachi Club KitchenCommittee under its new Convenor Farhan WahabLakhany organized its traditional food festival (BarB Q) on Sunday, 28th January 2018 at the club’smain lawn. Aroma of freshly cooked food was inthe air. One could see various varieties of Bar B Qon offer specially Chicken Chandan Kabab, ChickenTangri Boti, BBQ Grilled Fish & Prawn to name afew. Credit goes to the Convenor Kitchen and hisentire team, who organized BBQ Food Festivalwhich was a successful event. Members along withtheir families enjoyed the food and music late intothe night.

Handing and taking over ceremony of the newManaging Committee for the year 2018 held on2nd January 2018 at Karachi Club Main Lawn. Theoutgoing managing committee congratulated thenew managing committee and assured their fullsupport. The ceremony was attendant byrespected life and permanent members of KarachiClub. Outgoing President, Ashfaq Yousuf Tola andoutgoing Honorary Secretary, Jawed H. Karimthanked the scrutiny members and staff for theirefforts in conducting the elections 2018.

The first tennis tournament of the year 2018, KarachiClub Team Tennis Event was held in January. The eventwas divided into four teams, black, blue, green andred. The final was played between black and green.Team black came out victorious and lifted the firsttrophy of the year.

The member of the tennis committee and the ChiefGuest, Mr. Mohammad Yousuf Suleman, HonorarySecretary Karachi Club were present at the finals tograce the closing ceremony. The secretary Ali Mansoor

New Convenor Bridge,Haresh Kumar Perwanicongratulated the winnersof KC Bridge Event whichwas held on Thursday, 25thJanuary 2018 at KarachiClub (Main). Winner of KCbridge event were TehseenGheewala and HasanAskari.

The New Committee of Bridge under its new Convenor HareshKumar Perwani organized first tournament for the bridgeplaying members of Karachi Club on Tuesday, 9th January2018 at Karachi Club Annexe.
