Kara Prohaska (4YK) was nominated by Mrs. Isham for being an outstanding helper. Not only is Kara helpful with the teachers, she is helpful with other students in the classroom. She knows and follows the rules and routines in school, encourages others to follow the rules and helps out when there is a new student or teacher. Her math and reading skills keep getting better as the year progresses! Kara works hard and never gives up on tasks. In addition, she is exceptionally kind and is a good friend to all students—she plays with everyone. She is also very responsible for such a young student—taking care of her own needs, returning notes or homework to the teacher and cleaning up on her own. Great work, Kara! Kerigan Lebal (Kindergarten) was nominated by Miss Felland for being an outstanding student who always helps others around her. Kerigan gets her work done and is ready for more! She always completes her homework and shows responsibility by bringing it back to school. She has made great gains in reading by practicing in and out of school. Kerigan is a role model to her classmates by following school expectations, completing work, showing respect, and being responsible. Way to go, Kerigan!

Kara Prohaska (4YK) was nominated by Mrs. Isham for being an outstanding helper. Not only is Kara

Taylor Wisniewski (First Grade) was nominated

by Mr. Solberg. Mr. Solberg says that Taylor is always very polite in and out of his classroom.

Taylor works hard on all tasks that are given to him and takes pride and ownership in his work.

Taylor is also a very responsible student. Taylor is known as a kind-hearted boy, who cares about others around him. Nice work,

Taylor!

Sarah Allard (Second Grade) was nominated by Mrs.

Zimmer for doing so well in all subject areas of school. She is always polite, helpful and willing to

assert herself. Sarah assists her classmates, without giving answers, when she sees they are

struggling with a concept. She is working hard to make healthy choices in what she eats and says, “no,

thank you,” when there are sweet treats in the classroom and is always excited when a healthy treat is brought to share. When her classmates

bring sweets and a healthy choice just for her, she is truly thankful for their thoughtfulness. Sarah is

an excellent role model. Keep it up, Sarah!

Isabelle vanDoorn (Second Grade) was nominated by Mrs. Steckel for being an all

around outstanding second grader! Isabelle is a great friend to all and is always very kind and helpful. If anyone needs help—Isabelle is there with her winning smile. She is a very hard worker in and out of the classroom.

Isabelle has been working very hard with her Accelerated Reader points this year and is quite a dedicated reader. Isabelle’s AR

points keep climbing to new heights. Awesome work, Isabelle, keep it up!

Shane Snider (Third Grade) was nominated by Mrs. Torres for his outstanding behavior in the

art room. Shane always comes to art prepared and willing to learn something new. Shane listens intently to the directions that

are given in class and takes his time completing tasks at hand and showing great

pride in his artwork. He is always the first to start helping during clean up time and always the last still helping. Thank you, Shane, for

all your hard work!

Ethan (Fourth Grade) was nominated by Miss Sundberg. Miss Sundberg is very impressed with how hard Ethan works and says he does a fabulous job participating in the classroom.

He likes to have the chance to share his thinking and his work. Ethan is a great

friend and is kind to all. Miss Sundberg says it is very rare not to see a smile on his face every day! Keep up the great work, Ethan!

Olivia Taylor (Fifth Grade) was nominated

by Mrs. Coggins. Olivia is always willing to help other students who she sees needing help in the classroom. Olivia is not only

helpful to all, but she takes great pride in her education. She puts forth much effort into her homework and projects. Although

she may be quiet in the classroom, her manners and helpfulness make her a stand-

up student. Keep it up, Olivia!

Josh Bechtel (Sixth Grade) was nominated

by Mrs. Torres for being a very well-mannered student in the art room. Josh

stays on task and completes art projects in a timely fashion. He is always willing to

try new ideas and concepts when completing a project. Josh always keeps a clean workspace and will help others when they are in need. Thanks for being such a

pleasant student in the art room, Josh!
