If you want to study an English coursebefore you begin your academicprogramme, just let us know! We havea wide range of English programmesavailable with different durations tooffer flexible English tuition to cover arange of abilities. Furthermore, yourEnglish programme will be joined to thebeginning of your pathway programmeto form one integrated study plan. Thismeans you wont need to apply for aseparate visa for the English course.
What you will study
Each week the programme providesa minimum of 18 hours of interactiveclassroom based tuition and a further
20 hours minimum of guided self-study. Assignments include languageproject work in the local community andon-line activities, as well as preparationfor classes.
You will also be assigned a LearningSupport Tutor who you will meetat regular intervals to discuss yourprogress and to receive help with areasyou find difficult.
Once you have completed the languagesection of your course and achieved the
required English level, you will progressdirectly onto the pathway programmeto begin your academic studies.

If you are a sponsored student (forexample by a government body), pleasesend us your financial guarantee so wecan confirm your place.
Upon receiving the deposit, we willemail you a receipt and the Confirmationof Acceptance for Study (CAS), whichcontains a unique reference number andis used for your student visa application.
You will also receive the accommodationpreference form and the arrivals form.
If your offer was conditional, the CASwill be dispatched as soon as youprovide evidence of having met theconditions of your offer.
Step 3: Apply or a student visa
Once you have your CAS along withevidence that you have the course feesand sufficient funds to live, submit yourvisa application with original documentsrequired demonstrating your Englishand Academic level at your local BritishEmbassy or High Commission.
