Consulting is far from your normal 9 to 5 – the firm, the work, and rewards are unique and diverse!

Not just a job, but a way of life…

Life on the road

Consultants typically travel every week, usually Monday through Thursday (sometimes Friday).

Depending on your level, you may change projects every few months, or even weeks. Projects can range in location from locally to internationally.

Frequent travelers earn lots of hotel points and frequent flyer miles, which are yours to keep and to use for personal vacations.

Getting involved

Approximately 80% of your consulting job focuses on clientwork, but up to 20% of your time is spent giving back toyour firm and community.

Activities include: Recruiting, community service, andsocial events.

Working conditions

Project demands usually requires at least 45 hours per week, sometimes more. Instead of working at one desk day after day, traveling consultants are able to work

wherever is most effective and convenient. Most of the time, this is at the client site.

Being on different projects and traveling to different client sites decreases the likelihood of getting bored and promotes a learning environment.
