1. This picture shows the ‘Dust Storm’. It was disastrous, killing majority of the crops around that area, along with animals, and destroying houses. It was a horrid time. I think that this is a good picture for this, because it is kind of the start of the whole depression, or at least, it helped make it worse.

2. With all the houses and farms destroyed, many people lost not only homes, but jobs as well. Not being able to work in the fields, people had to find other was to support their families. Here is a picture of two men searching for jobs.

3. The third picture is similar the picture #2, but they are children pretty much begging people to hire their parents. I find this picture big in the depression, for it shows that the children are begging for something they don’t understand, because if they don’t, they might not get dinner that night, or that week.

4. This picture shows many people in a large room, eating. This is because most of them had no money to feed themselves or their families. This shows how little , people who did work, were paid. They still couldn’t even pay for food.

5. This picture goes along with picture #4, it shows a long line of people, waiting to get inside, just so they could have something warm to eat.

6. Picture #6 shows a band of men, demanding that they get their jobs back. Almost all of the workers that worked in factories couldn’t even afford the product they produced.

7. In this picture, you see people waiting at a bank. These people are waiting to sell their possessions, so they can buy food, or any other necessities that they need.

8. Picture #8 shows a newspaper covers of the Black Tuesday.
