pFaye and Ken Subritzky are set to bring V8 racing to a whole new audience
From Pahi to Bathurst — no petrol required!A backyard ‘labour of love’ for Pahi racing enthusiast, Ken Subritzky, has produced a V8 supercar simulator to rival the technological achievements of international motoring’s corporate giants.
Ken has a healthy respect for the drivers who pit their skills against Australia’s challenging Bathurst circuit and he doesn’t even have to leave the Kaipara to get behind the wheel of his own Holden racing machine to challenge the twists and turns of Mount Panorama himself.
Or any number of the world’s racing circuits, depending upon a choice of computer programs.
The fitter, turner, welder and toolmaker has deftly sidestepped the need for airline tickets, expensive pit crews and tons of tyres by building his own V8 supercar simulator — a project which has consumed over seven months and is valued at more than $60,000.
“I was talking to a friend of mine who said he’s built a simulator and that gave me a seed of inspiration. The project has cost some $60,000 but that’s because I have had to experiment, redesign and rebuild as I’ve gone along. Now it’s fully operational, I could probably build the same machine for around $30,000,” said Ken.
He managed to source a genuine Holden police car, unfortunately crashed in the line of duty but still able to be stripped and rebuilt as the shell of a simulation machine. Inside, the car boasts a fully functional racing wheel, seats, instruments and a suite of bone-rattling speakers which deliver every noise from tyre squeal to the
rumble of that huge V8 engine. A high-resolution projector situated outside the windscreen displays a shockingly realistic replica of the iconic Aussie circuit, while under-car hydraulics add in the bumps and swerves.
In fact, this last feature has proven so realistic that Ken often has to turn it off! The sensation of being there, feeling the responsiveness of real mechanical pedals, simulated tyre wear and the crunch of unintentional impacts with the wall is extremely immersive, and a couple of trial laps showed that driving a V8 racer takes reflexes and nerves of steel.
Ken and his wife Faye intend to take their simulator to motoring events — hot rod shows, new car launches, race meets — as well as making it available for parties, corporate events and fun days. They are currently seeking sponsors who may wish to ‘wrap’ both the simulator car and it’s caravan housing in their own ‘racing team’ colours, and a suite of minor improvements such as an internal roll cage are planned to make the simulation feel even more authentic.
“When you live here in the Kaipara you have to be innovative if you want to succeed,” says Ken, who is modest about the scale of what he’s achieved. ¢

Filmmakers develop skills
pPaparoa primary school pupil, Ethan Lydiard is all smiles as he receives a book during the Books In Schools assembly held last week. Doing the honours as teachers and pupils look on is Shane Jones MP staff member, Tracy Dalton. She stood in for the politician after he missed a flight connection to be present at the school himself. Special Role Model assemblies are held at schools across the country when sports people, musicians, artists, writers, and many other New Zealanders visit Duffy schools, present books and talk to the kids about their achievements and goals. They tell the kids It’s Cool to Read and Cool to Achieve and make a connection between success and reading. The last week of Term Two was Government Book Week during which MPs and other politicians were invited to schools to present books — flight schedules permitting.
pAround a dozen budding filmmakers attended a free film workshop organised by the Outlook for Someday project, aiming to develop a generation of sustainability story tellers. The students worked on film techniques including framing, cutting, sound and editing. The timing suited some who plan to enter the Dargaville Community Cinema Charitable Trust short film competition with entries having to be in by July 31.

New focus on harbour healthu by Paul Campbell
After more than 27 years in local government, former Kaipara District Council manager, Mark Vincent, is not about to hang up his boots — he’s turning his attention to the Kaipara Harbour.
“In the last few years I have discovered a passion for the restoration of the health of the harbour. A lot of great work has already been done, but I reckon there is still a long way to go.”
Mark was the KDC’s representative on the Integrated Kaipara Harbour Management Group, an iwi-led organisation with the mission to achieve “a healthy, productive Kaipara Harbour” This gave him a greater insight into the issues and challenges facing the harbour’s future, with one basic message being that, what we do on the land has an impact on the harbour — the land and the water are parts of the same system.
“It is likely that the main barriers to landowners doing more in regard to waterways protection are time and money,” says Mark.
While the district council has suspended its biodiversity fund for this year, and the regional council’s environment fund is fully subscribed for the next 12 months, at least the government has just now signalled a change to the tax law to make riparian planting a deductible operational expense rather than a capital item. “I

Raising awareness for ‘surgery on wheels’u by Rose Rees-Owen
A mobile surgical bus, equipped with an operating theatre, travels to 23 rural destinations including Dargaville. “Yet few know about it,” says Mobile Health general manager, Mark Eager.
“We have been operating for over 11 years and speaking to an MP recently, the feedback was that very few people know about it.”
To raise awareness, Mr Eager along with Dargaville Hospital operations manager, Jen Thomas, will speak at a public meeting hosted by Dargaville Rotary Club at the Methodist Church Complex at 7.30pm on July 31.
The service first visited Dargaville in December 2003 and has since treated 550 local patients, primarily in dental and endoscopy.
“It’s your town, your show,” says Mr Eager, “we provide the service but it’s staffed by Dargaville nurses and filled with local patients.”
Four nurses work with surgeons on board gaining education and skills relevant to their daily nursing practice.
Nationally the 40 tonne, 20 meter long truck has treated over 16,000 patients and travels on a five week circuit to destinations in the North and South Island.
Operations include dental, endoscopy, ear nose and throat, gynaecology, ophthalmology,
orthopaedics, plastic surgery, urology, and general surgery.
The service works in partnership with the Ministry of Health and operates on patients from public waiting lists. They work with the local District Health Boards to treat priority patients.
Mr Eager says the idea was formed in 1995 when New Zealand received radiology equipment to treat kidney stones lessening recovery time.
“Instead of keeping it at one hospital, the idea was to put it on a bus and take it around New Zealand.”
He adds that it’s about sharing access to resources and treating patients in their own town, close to their existing support networks.
Education also plays a key role and as well as training, the service includes a video conferencing link between two or more remote locations to share knowledge between health professionals.
He says the meeting is also about thinking outside the box about what’s possible for health in a digital area.

Streetlights of the future?u by Paul Campbell u by Rose Rees-Owen
A new energy-saving street lighting system for Kaipara may be on the cards if an experiment underway in Mangawhai is successful.
Co-author of the guide book, Classic New Zealand Cycle Trails, Jonathan Kennett, says the trail from Dargaville to downtown Auckland is the missing link to cycling Northland.
So l a r - p owe red streetlights are being trialled at the intersection of Molesworth Drive and Sunlea Lane, with results being closely monitored. If successful, they could be used e lsewhere in the district.
Cabling under the road and installing an extra transformer could cost $15,000 for a traditional light, so Kaipara District Council chose a solar powered light costing around $6,000. It was installed last month and its power is only slightly below a mains-powered light.
Council roading manager, Henri van Zyl, expects running and maintenance costs to be lower than grid electricity, and even on dull days the panels and battery create and store enough electricity to operate all night.
“It has a timer, allowing its hours to be changed to suit summer and winter patterns,”
“It provides two needs for cyclists. It’s an adventurous trail and it’s a lot safer than travelling along State Highway One.”
The trail, organised by Chris Donahoe and the Kaipara District Council, is 118km long, and heads southwest from Dargaville to the mouth of Kaipara Harbour at Pouto Point. Classed as intermediate in skill level, cyclists have the option of travelling by road or via Ripiro Beach to Pouto with the latter dependant on the tides and weather.
The guidebook warns that Pouto Road is sometimes busy with logging trucks and recommends pulling over when both sides of the road are occupied. There is also a 200 metre section between Red Hills Road and Triangle Road that does not meet New Zealand Cycle Trail safety criteria and recommends dismounting.
“Cyclists have just as much right to use the road as motorists and as long as drivers are courteous then there shouldn’t be any problems,” says Mr Donahoe.
Cyclists cross the Kaipara Harbour by boat before continuing to downtown Auckland with two providers, Shamrock Charters Kaipara, and Kaipara Cruises accommodating riders. While chartering a boat is expensive, around $450, if cyclists

organise to join planned trips, the price reduces but passengers might end up spending the day fishing. When Mr Kennett completed the trail, his group spent four days cycling from Kaitaia to downtown Auckland and he says it’s one of the best.
He meet with local identities including Warren Suckling aka Ernie at the Kumara Box and Jock Wills provided a tour of the Kaipara North Head Lighthouse sharing some of it’s history.
The trail has the endorsement of the New Zealand Transport Agency and New Zealand Cycle Trail and takes around three days to complete.
“The hard part is done. Now it’s up to tourism operators to promote it,” says Mr Donahoe who plans to volunteer on the project when he leaves his role as the Kaipara District Council Economic Facilitator.

he says. A new battery may be needed, perhaps every five years, and eventually the solar panels will need replacing.”
If successful, they could be used elsewhere, possibly replacing some of the present 1,136 street lights. Other ideas include less power hungry LED units.
“So far the new light is working well and neighbouring residents are happy with it.”
He is not aware of any other solar powered street lights in Northland and expects Kaipara’s trial to generate interest when Northland’s four councils and the NZ Transport Agency discuss regional roading issues. ¢

In artist Ray Fowler’s quest to find a suitable tombstone to paint, he found wee Mac’s grave.
The mystery of wee Mac
Ray scoured the cemeteries of Auckland and Dargaville for years but it wasn’t until he spotted graves amongst the scrub at Tokatoka that he found what he was looking for.
“I came across a very small grave that was perfect for what I was after. There was no date on it, just the words — ‘In Loving Memory of our Darling Wee Mac’.”
He has become intrigued and gathering clues about who the child was from the grave. By the size, he estimates Mac to have been three or
four years old and the surrounding tombstones date around the late 1800s, early 1900s period. It has an iron railing around it and a small angel statuette.
“The angel is holding an anchor so I presume wee Mac drowned.”
The painting will be exhibited at the Dargaville Arts Association exhibition beginning July 23 — August 6 at 108 Victoria Street.
Ray plans to paint a series of Mac’s grave and is interested to know more about the child and his/her demise. Contact Ray Fowler [email protected] ¢

His practical barns, cabins, homes and sheds utilise the same materials with which early pioneers built the Albertland settlements — wood from our abundant forests. And while some aspects of building practice and technology have changed, Tim still holds a strong belief that a well-built wooden frame beats metal hands down.
It’s not just his customers who have been converted, either. Tim has in the past months been partnered up with NorthTec as a tutor, handing on his skills to a new generation of builders. His ten years of experience at the helm of his company Barn Builders means that he’s far more ‘hammer, nails and saw’ than textbook and laptop, lending a practical edge to his carpentry pupils.
Now there’s a new chapter in Tim’s story, with the opening on July 27 of what he light-heartedly calls ‘a shrine to the pine’
— his new display space, right next door to his classroom and workshop in Kaiwaka. Here he’ll showcase a selection of the buildings he’s constructed over the years for customers to view. His training crew will also have completed projects for sale, charting their progress to the status of fully fledged carpenters.
Tim is keen to see his students get into work and work experience, and he invites local tradies to visit and give his crew a chance to impress.
At the same time he hopes that his new retail space will attract more customers for his core building business, constructing traditional, cost-effective wooden buildings throughout the north.
It all kicks off on Saturday, July 27 with an open day bbq — a great chance to meet Tim and his team.
Passing on a passion for traditional building
Building tutor and construction company owner Tim Magill is proud to carry on a tradition of wood crafting which goes back to colonial times in the Kaipara.

Services collaborating to help Kaiparau by Rose Rees-Owen
A new initiative, Nga Ripo, consists of eight Kaipara organisations working collaboratively for whanau.
It is a Whanau Ora Collective, an interagency approach, and ‘navigators’ work with whanau to develop a plan and arrange access to a range of services identified to achieve their goals.
“It’s about bringing services together to achieve better outcomes for whanau,” says Kaiwhakatere Tuakana (lead navigator), Jenny Huriwai, who is also manager of Circus Kumarani.
“There are some awesome services in Kaipara but it’s about knowing about them or believing that they will make a difference.”
Jenny will continue to manage Circus Kumarani with the help of a new office administrator.
The organisations involved are Te Uri O Hau, Te Roroa Learning Assistance, Kaipara Abuse Prevention, Kaipara Budgeting, Parish of Northern Wairoa,
Kumarani Productions, Otamatea Community Services and Te Korowai Aroha Pumau.
“Even though there are only eight service providers on the Primary Collective, we definitely don’t limit our options to other services in our community — it’s about what whanau want,” says project manager Tania Moriarty.
Rangimarie McDowell won Nga Ripo’s logo competition and the koru design is her interpretation of the collective.
“The ripples reflect, survive, embrace and carry on to grow throughout the design,” says Rangimarie in her explanation.
Their new space is located in the Big River FM Awawhanui Hub on Hokianga road.
Families wanting assistance can contact Tania, 021 714 252.

Kaipara District Council rates are now being paid in four equal annual instalments instead of the previous six.
The change, from July 1, helps reduce administration costs and brings KDC into line with most other councils, including Far North and Whangarei.

Servicing the Kaipara
The project began over five years ago and construction is scheduled to finish at the end of July if the weather permits.
For those eager to use the skatepark, whether it be unicyclers, skateboarders or bmx riders, the time can’t come soon enough.
“Feedback from the people who will use it has been positive,” says Darlene, “they ask the same question, ‘when is it going to be finished?’”
Vuletich Construction has the contract to build the skatepark and director John Vuletich says he has taken park users ideas on board when constructing it.
Rails, a half pipe and half mini bowl are just some of the features in the 925 square metre concrete park designed to flow to make movement fluid.
The committee has had to jump through hoops to get the project up and running, and a major obstacle was the location.
Logan Street was earmarked for the skatepark, but following a recommendation by the Dargaville Sports and Recreation Infrastructure Plan, the committee submitted a proposal to have the project moved to

Committee treasurer, Darlene Lang, smiles every time she sees the progress made on the new skatepark in Selwyn Park, Dargaville.
pDarlene Lang is pleased with progress on the new skatepark
the more visible location with better facilities of Selwyn Park.
Darlene says the location is perfect, the skatepark is between the swimming pool and a new playground.
“I can visualise this place in summertime. Kids playing on the playground and in the pool, lots of skaters and unicyclers, maybe a game of touch in the background.”
The project has cost around $250,000 with funding coming from the Kaipara District Council, Lotteries Grant Board, ASB Community Trust and donations.
“Projects like the cinema and the swimming pool have happened because they have been community driven. We are part of the community, and we will do what needs to be done to make it happen. We deserve to have these cool things in our community.”
A low key opening is planned by committee member Izaak Birch who has been part of the project since the beginning. He joined the committee in his early twenties and is now nearing his thirties.
“We can’t wait to see people enjoying it in August,” says Darlene. ¢
A film-making echou by Paul Campbell
The Kaipara documentary film Mystery at Midge Bay — Discovering New Zealand’s Oldest Shipwreck, has had a connection on the other side of the world.
At the coastal city of La Coruna in Galicia, northern Spain, a large pohutukawa tree grows, its age and existence an enigma.
While researching early Spanish and Portuguese voyages to New Zealand, New Zealander Winston Cowie has gifted the tree, and people of La Coruna, a greenstone pendant carved and donated by Kerry Strongman, at Te Hana.
Cowie has been working with film director David Sims and their documentary delves into potential Portuguese and Spanish discoveries of New Zealand.
“The La Coruna pohutukawa has been an enigma since first being discovered in 2001,” Winston told The Kaipara Lifestyler.
“The tree has not been dated although some say that it’s 400 to 500 years old and others 200 years old, and that it was brought back by an English sailor in the late
18th century.“I call my research into potential
Spanish and Portuguese discoveries of New Zealand the Conquistador Puzzle. Some pieces of the puzzle fit, others don’t, but in my view, there is enough of the puzzle to say that New Zealand may have been discovered by the Portuguese or Spanish, and over 100 years prior to Abel Tasman.
“Where the La Coruna pohutukawa fits in the puzzle, I honestly don’t know, it is a mystery that has been sitting there, waiting to be solved.”
A sample from the tree has been taken for analysis.
Kerry Strongman says when he heard Winston was travelling to Spain to date the pohutukawa, he carved “a very special piece of greenstone for a very special tree.”
Mystery at Midge Bay will be screening at the Kumara Box on July 26 and 28.

Futon ya San Organics, along with complementary company, Natural Beds and Furniture, are owned and operated by members of the Absurdistan community on Kaiwaka’s Parekura Road.
Mansoor Valkoun, of Futon ya San Organics, has been operating the originally Auckland-based bedding business since migrating to New Zealand from Germany in 1995, relocating to Kaipara four years ago.
Monsoor says 27 years sleeping on a futon, coupled with his physiotherapy training, means he has no doubt as to the postural and health benefits of good sleep support. Natural mattresses are free of electromagnetic stress and have air circulation and moisture dissipation properties.
He says creativity and sustainability drive his business. “It doesn’t mean you don’t make money, but you keep bringing

Organic and ethically produced materials are sourced worldwide. Cotton/hemp fabrics are used for the mattress covers and combinations of rubberised coconut fibre and bamboo blended with good old New Zealand wool for the fillings, in a range of mattresses, pillows and cushions to suit everything from cots and sofas to boats and caravans.

Drug testing homes for peace of mindu by Andy Bryenton
The rise of this dangerous drug has led to broken families, lost lives, violence and death — a check through recent news headlines will reveal the grim statistics. But there’s a hidden side to the drug (known as ‘P’, ‘ice’, ‘crack’ or ‘crystal meth’) which often goes unnoticed. That’s the toll which the manufacture of this noxious substance has on the homes where it is produced.
Most ‘meth labs’ or ‘cookouts’ are set up in rented homes — few criminals are stupid or callous enough to contaminate their own property. Because contamination is the issue here, in a big way. Homes tainted with the precursor chemicals and the residue of meth manufacture are toxic to the point that police raiding a meth lab must call for the Fire Department’s hazardous materials unit. Full ‘space suits’ are worn by cleanup crews.
The effects on people who live in a meth-lab contaminated environment may be instantaneous — sore eyes, itching, coughing, a flu-like ache and lethargy. More troubling are the long term health effects, some of which have been associated with cancer. Children and babies are especially susceptible.
The awful part of this story is that most people living in ex meth-lab environments might not even know about it. Criminals move often to evade capture and are adept at packing up the tools of their trade. Landlords can be fooled into thinking that nothing out of the ordinary has occurred. But the cost of a full cleanup, once the issue is detected, can be staggering.
The solution is early detection. And that’s where leading local real estate company Roper and Jones come in. Dargaville’s First National Real Estate professionals have chosen to tackle this problem head on with a new service, testing for meth before it can poison people’s lives.
“We’re passionate members of our local community,” says Roper and Jones
spokesperson Jill Wilson. “And we want to take steps to ensure the integrity of property in this region, today and into the future.
“For this reason we have staff trained to look for the signs of meth use and manufacture. We also have staff who can come and take samples in property
None can deny the huge cost which the scourge of methamphetamine addiction has had to this country.
A D V E RT O R I A L where people think there may be a problem with meth.” The service is free for those who contract Roper and Jones to manage their rental property for 12 months or more, and is also available as a precaution for those looking to buy. It’s a small cost to establish peace of mind for you and your family’s health.

But while the tools change, the job remains the same — a tough but rewarding stewardship of the herd and the land across four demanding seasons.
The modern quad has added a lot of punch to the farmer’s arsenal of tools. And there’s a ‘sweet spot’ in size and performance which seems just right for Kiwi conditions — the displacement, power and weight combo which perfectly replaces that trusty horse.
Now to that hotly contested segment of the ATV quad market comes the latest Can Am Outlander 500, driven by the philosophy that ‘it’s not engine size that matters, it’s engine toughness and strength’. At the heart of the
The sharpest tool in the Kiwi farmer’s shed?u by Andy Bryenton
The modern farmer uses many high-tech tools — some of which his grandfather would not have even dreamed of.
Outlander’s appeal in this regard is its ‘bulletproof’ Rotax 500cc engine. The same company builds engines for aeroplanes, so you know that breakdowns were not factored into its engineering! The Rotax mill churns out an impressive 46 horsepower, giving the Outlander a class-leading combined rack weight capacity of 135 kgs, plus rider. That’s a lot of gear.
There’s another fresh idea, too — separate keys for farm workers and the boss. One limits top speed to 40kph, while the other unlocks the full power of that Rotax engine; a perfect way to prevent damage at the hands of less experienced riders.
Some insurance companies even offer a discount for Outlander owners just for this feature!
Independent rear suspension and rider-selectable three mode power steering put that power down with more finesse than many would expect from a farmer’s working quad. And that combination of power and ergonomics has made the Outlander stand out in its class, winning many accolades from the motoring press and from farmers who use this ‘sharp’ off road tool every day.
Comfort may seem a small issue, after all, when you’re perusing the specs sheet at your local dealership. But at seven in the evening, with the rain coming down and a long ride between you and a warm fireplace, a quad which takes the hard knocks so that your arms, legs and back don’t have to is simply a gift from heaven.
Fieldays sales numbers back up what many riders have been saying for a long time now - Can Am have made ‘American built’ a byword for quality here in NZ. ¢

But this time they’ve outdone themselves, sourcing a product which literally has to be seen to be believed.
To introduce this revolution in painting DAE are hosting a one-off open afternoon on Thursday, showcasing just how easy it is to paint your car to a high standard with the use of a compressorless airbrush. If your ride needs a fresh look this is one you can’t miss — it’s a free tutorial from the pros which could save you thousands and leave your vehicle looking street fresh, utilising a product called plasti-dip made in the USA.
You may have seen this new paint tech in aerosol form, in combinations such as camo (which has proven a hit with hunters), or as an accent to custom rims on tuned cars. Now DAE are helping home customisers to step up their game, bringing a professional grade compressor-free airbrush unit into the country, especially for use with the new paint in a home garage environment.
Free skills night for auto paint perfection Not your average hybridu by Andy Bryenton

Meet the Fisker Karma — a vehicle which is to the humble Prius hybrid what the fire-breathing GT40 is to the more prosaic Ford Escort.
Fisker was only formed in 2007, by the pairing of designer and sculptor Henrik Fisker and Bernhard Koehler, but already their radical luxury hybrid has earned them a reputation as innovators. Perhaps that’s because this enviro-conscious gas-electric vehicle accelerates to 100kph from standing in a nippy 6.3 seconds. Or perhaps it’s because the Karma has a 300 mile range, beating other eco-vehicles hands down. Then again, it could just be about the looks. Interesting note — the dash can be specified in three types of wooden trim, none of which come from trees cut down by human beings. Your choices are — trees felled by storms, trees felled by wildfires but unburned, and trees recovered from the depths of the Great Lakes after 300 years underwater.
The high powered gun has the coverage and flow to paint an entire car just like the professionals do — in minutes rather than hours. And the unique Plasti-dip formula means that overspray is not a hassle — it literally peels away clean to leave crisp lines and pristine panelwork. There are a few tricks to getting the most out of this new material, so attending the seminar is a good start. You’ll even get to have a go yourself, time permitting, and feel how the paint glides on over light scratches and chips. ¢

Hairy Maclary’s 30th birthday in Ruawai
pStoryteller, Barbara Adams, entertained Ruawai Kindergarten students with tales of Hairy Maclary and Slinky Malinki at the Community Library at Ruawai College. The book character from Donaldson’s Dairy, Hairy Maclary, has been enjoyed by children and their parents for 30 years. The kids completed activity sheets and ate Hairy Maclary themed snacks created by the senior hospitality students.
Camellias on showThe Ruawai Gardening Club has held camellia displays for decades with this year being no exception.
As well as a display at the Ruawai Memorial Hall, they are taking the camellias on the road and travelling by bus to the Auckland Show on July 20.
Gardner, Betty Wallace, set up the displays in the 1980s to raise funds for

the Save the Children charity. She sold lunches to business owners and women from Dargaville joined her setting up stalls for the cause.
After Mrs Wallace passed away, the Ruawai Gardening Club carried on the camellia displays in 1992.
“I was always very interested in what Mrs Wallace was doing,” says secretary of 21 years, Noelene Gatehouse.
“As a garden club we feel very proud of our camellia display. Today in the late Mrs Wallace’s garden still grow some of her beautiful old camellias.”
The display takes place August 3, 10am–2pm with lunch at noon.
Mrs Gatehouse says anyone’s welcome to come on the bus trip to Auckland.

Septic tanks and multi-stage septic systems are delicately balanced environments. It does not take much to upset them. Common practice is to ignore the septic system until problems occur. Good and best economical practice is to always keep your septic system well maintained.
A malfunctioning septic system can become a health hazard. When a system is not maintained or operated as a delicately balanced environment, problems occur. These problems include nasty odours, leach line blockages, untreated liquid rising to the surface, toilets gurgling and taking time to empty. At this stage your septic system is a serious health hazard to you and your children. Human waste produces faecal coliform bacteria, a source of viral and bacterial gastroenteritis as well as Hepatitis A and other diseases. Hepatitis can be a debilitating condition and cause long-term harm to children.
There are only three remedies. One: stop using the septic system until it recovers. This can take over a month and is not normally practical. Two: excavate your septic system and relocate it. This is very costly and time consuming, sometimes requiring new resource consents and different systems. Three: treat your septic system with Septi-Cure™ every six months.
Septi-Cure is Cost effective. By far the most cost effective solution is to pour one litre of Septi-Cure™ down each toilet bowl every six months. This simple action will help keep your system working at top efficiency by reducing solids and scum. Instead of emptying your tank frequently, the reduction in solids and scum saves you expensive pump out costs. Your irrigation field and leach lines will become clear of slimes and blockages so nature can handle the gradual seepage and evaporation for you. When this is happening your system will be operating effectively and not endangering you or your family’s health.effectively and not endangering you or your family’s health.
What is Septi-Cure™ Septi-Cure™ Septi-Cure™ is a concentrated mixture of selected is a concentrated mixture of selected naturally occurring microorganisms. These naturally occurring microorganisms.
