Kabbalah and Healing part 6.

The kiss between

Heaven and Earth.

We are looking at the level between Gevurah and Hesed.

Throat Chakra

This chakra is our will center. The health of the fifth chakra relates to how honestly we expresses ourselves.

We speak our choices with our voices (throats). All the choices we make in our lives have consequences on an energetic level. The challenge of the throat chakra is to express ourselves in the most truthful manner (often we don’t even know our truth).

Also to receive and assimilate information.

Soul = Truth, Discernment, Mercy.

The soul is the triad between Gevurah, Tiferet and Hesed.

It is pierced by the triad of Spirit.

Our personal soul is depicted by our astrology.

Ego – Self - Soul

Our task in life is to develop the vessel of the first half of life – the Ego.

Then to use it to serve our true Self, the individual.

And then to release that Self to service in the second half of life.

However, the modern Ego is often too damaged for that progression to be made.

We are so often disconnected from our Soul

The world does not encourage Soul development. Individuality is fine ... But the soul is part of the greater good and requires sacrifice (to make sacred).

Often mistaken for ‘being good’ or ‘doing good works’ but these are tasks for the self and the ego.

The soul just is. It is in continual communion with God. It allows God. It serves humanity not people.

We’ve seen how it can be compressed

By the emotions in the side triads of the Tree of Life.

But at this level, it is also compressed by belief.

Philosophy and Religion.

Spirit/Life force has no access.

Recovery requires us to let go

• Of preconceived notions, philosophies and beliefs.

• Of old hatreds and resentments.• Of anything which is eating our Spirit or

blocking our path to God.Often it is the one thing which it is hardest to

release. The belief which we think has kept us going all our life.

At this level, nothing is real.

Remember, Lucifer the tempter is beautiful.

Would we rather be right...

... Or would we rather be healed?So often when healing is required at this level

we have to have the humility to accept that our belief, our campaigning, our certainty, our prejudice is not so much wrong but causing us imbalance.

We have to allow others we may have hated or despised to be right. And we have to be able to love ourselves through that.

Here we must ‘let go and let God.’A terrible storm came into a town and a faithful Christian man stood on his porch watching the

water rise up the steps.A man in a canoe paddled by and called to him, “Hurry and come into my canoe, the waters are

rising quickly!” But the man said, “No thanks, I have faith that God will save me.”The floodwaters rose higher pouring water into his living room and the man had to retreat to the

second floor. A police motorboat came by and saw him at the window. “We will come up and rescue you!” they shouted. But the man refused, waving them off saying, “Use your time to save someone else! I have faith that God will save me!”

The flood waters rose higher and higher and the man had to climb up to his rooftop. A helicopter spotted him and dropped a rope ladder. A rescue officer came down the ladder and pleaded with the man, "Grab my hand and I will pull you up!" But the man STILL refused, folding his arms tightly to his body. “No thank you! God will save me!”

Shortly after, the house broke up and the floodwaters swept the man away and he drowned.When in Heaven, the man stood before God and asked, “I put all of my faith in You. Why didn’t

You come and save me?” And God said, “Son, I sent you a canoe. I sent you a motorboat. I sent you a helicopter. What more were you looking for?”

God at this level...

... Is God the Healer (did I hear a chorus of ‘thank God’?)

Even better, this is the God of miracles.But to access these miracles we need to be

able to experience joy.Not easy when facing a critical or chronic dis-

ease. Especially when we believe that saints and Jesus ‘suffered.’

The place of miracles

This is the level where miracles happen ... Often when we are so desperate or so weak that we have given up.

Give up the opposition to the light ... And the light can get in.

God of Healing

• Magical, mystical, alchemical, transformative.• It’s at this level that focusing on love and

happiness will heal – because the blocks are gone.• We must be aware of the ‘still, silent voice’ that

will guide us.• Love is the answer; love of self; love of the other;

love of the world. This God is the God of Grace which is an expression of God’s unconditional love for us.

Its this level of God which makes saints, saints.

The God of healing will always heal. But not always as we expect.

It may give us courage to endure or compassion – think of the amazing kindnesses and love expressed by some people in the concentration camps.

Saints often endured very difficult lives but did it with great love and Grace.

Sacrament: Marriage

Sacred marriage is not about person-to-person marriage, it is about union with God.

This is not melding into God but being in a clear, committed relationship and allowing God to be the guiding hand in the dance of life.

It is about surrender, relationship, allowing and receiving.

Let go and let God

Easier said than done but, if you are a ballroom dancer then to honour the dance, you must allow yourself to be led by the lead dancer.

This is not what most humans would call an equal relationship with God — although it is more equal than we might think because God learns from us (and therefore expands) and responds to us as well.

Levels of will

Death wish at Soul Level

It may simply be that the job we came in to do is done.

Certainly, at this level, if we want to release dis-ease and continue on Earth, we have to find a new reason for living.

The old life has died, therefore a marriage to the new is required to re-kindle life. Many have healed themselves by leaving all that is familiar and setting off for a life of adventure.

Again, it means giving up preconceptions.

This is one of the reasons why complementary medicine is so useful – homeopathy for example works at the level of the soul to dissolve delusions.

Once the delusion which has caused the dis-ease has been dissolved, then the block to spirit can clear and the body will follow (in its own time!).

Another reason for a death wish at this level ...

... may be that life has become so hard that the path of least resistance is through dying. The soul just seeks relief.

Sometimes this is literal suicide; sometimes psychological suicide.

The ego may still be protesting that it wants to live but the soul knows that no further advance can be made without a huge amount of letting go, and may opt to go home.

So what to do?

• Seek joy.• Be willing to let go of preconceptions.• Spend a year without a philosophy or religion!• Learn the blueprint of your soul (astrology) so

you can understand your matrix better.• Affirm: ‘I let go and let God.’• Love and be gentle with yourself.• Laugh every day.
