LOCK/RELEASE FROM OUTSIDE

To open

Rotate the key to 1 and pull the handleupward.

With remote control (where provided),press the button Ë to open the doors.

To lock

Rotate the key to 2 with fully closeddoor.

With remote control (where provided),press the button Á to close the doors.

STEERING WHEEL

It can be adjusted vertically (where provided).

For adjustment. bring the leverdownward to position 2 then positionthe wheel and lock it bringing lever toposition 1.

The two buttons are located besidesthe gear lever (one for each side):

EXTERNAL LIGHTSThe left-hand stalk operates most of theexternal lights. The external lights canonly be switched on when the ignitionkey is on MAR. The instrument paneland the various controls on thedashboard will come on when theexternal lights are switched on.

LIGHTS OFF

Knurled ring turned to symbol O.

SIDE LIGHTS

Turn the knurled ring to position 6.

DIPPED BEAMS

Turn the knurled ring to position 2.

MAIN BEAMS

With knurled ring in position 2, pushthe stalk forward toward the dashboard(steady position).

WINDOW WASHING

WINDSCREEN WASHER/WIPERThe stalk has 5 different positions (4 speeds):A windscreen wiper off.B intermittent.C continuous slow.D continuous fast.E temporary fast (unstable position).

“Smart washing” functionPull the stalk towards the steeringwheel (unstable position) to operate thewindscreen washer jet.

REAR WINDOW WIPER/REAR WINDOW WASHER

Turn the knurled ring to ' to operatethe rear window wiper.

Pushing the stalk towards thedashboard (unstable position) willactivate the rear window washer.

FLASHING

You can flash the beams pulling the stalktoward the wheel (unstable position).

DIRECTION INDICATORS Push the stalk to (stable) position:up (position a): right-hand indicatorON;down (position b): left-hand indicatorON.

USING THE MANUALGEARBOXTo engage the gears, press the clutchpedal fully and shift the gear lever intoone of the required positions (the diagram is shown on the knob).To engage reverse R from neutral,raise ring A under the knob and at thesame time move the gearshift leverrightwards and then backward.

Lift lever A and push the seat forwardsand backwards.

Heated seats

Press button E to switch the seatwarming on/off. Back rest angle adjustment

Turn knob B.

Seat height adjustment

Operate lever C to lift or lower therear area of the cushion to achieve themost comfortable driving position.

Backrest tilting

To tilt the seat, operate lever D(movement a) and push the backrestforward to lock (movement b); releaseleverD and push the backrest to slidethe seat forward (movement c, appliesonly to seats with easy entry).

REAR SEATS

Backrest release

❒ For versions with joint seat, lift handlesA and B and guide the backrest ontothe cushion.

❒ For versions with separate seats, lifthandle A or B to release respectivelythe left or right part of the backrest andguide the backrest onto the cushion.

FUEL FILLER CAP

The cap B is provided with a lossprevention device C which secures it tothe lid A.

Unscrew cap B using the ignition key.
