Content Standard:

Objectives:
By the end of the lesson pupils will be able to1. choose correctly the picture based on the description given.Time: 60 minutesTeaching Aids: LCD, laptop, textbook
Activities:
1. The teacher using the power point shows pictures of face taken from page 74 in the textbook.. The pupils listen and repeat after the teacher. 2. Teacher opens the following linkhttp://learnenglishkids.britishcouncil.org/en/fun-games/face-matchThe pupils listen to the description and choose the correct face.Note: Ask the pupils to write the face description of the person mentioned in the game.

3. Next, the teacher asks students to draw a picture of a person using some of the vocabulary from the activity above and p.74. They should not show anyone the picture they’ve drawn. They sit with a partner (face to face so that they can’t see each others’ drawing) and describe the picture they’ve drawn. The other student listens to the description and draws the face. When they’ve done they can compare their pictures to see how close they are. Each student should have a chance to describe and draw. 4. As a follow up students can write sentences about their pictures on another paper. Teacher hangs up the students’ pictures around the class. Then she gives out the sentences describing the pictures. In pairs students read the sentences and look around the class to find the picture they describe. Note:For a non-tech lesson, teacher can use picture card and description card.Lesson Link:
