As Per Powergrid specification Clause no. 7.03.16 Body of Hydrant Valve shall be Stainless Steel

and Internal part(i.e. Trim, Spring,Quick coupling…etc.) shall be Gun metal (Leaded tin bronze‐

LTB‐‐2).

PGCIL approved manufacturer is not manufacturing hydrant valve as per above MOC.

Hence we have discussed this issue with Engineer of Powergrid and as per their

Instruction we have supplied Hydrant valve with Gun metal body and internals as per Powergrid

Specification Rev.5.
