Office Park Jurkalnes is a modern office complex, adapting to the urban scale of the city, and taking part in the current development process of this urban quarter. Also, this building complex stands out as a distinctive project for dynamic and development oriented companies.

Office Park Jurkalnes is located just outside the urban centre of Riga among other develop-ment-oriented companies. The location offers opti-mal traffic connections – a highly strategic location, within a few miles of the airport and railway station.

The projecT

The concept of this project is that a heavy perforated wall running along the perimeter of the plot. Individual office buildings are situated along this wall. The four and five storey buildings encircle a large park area – exuding a feeling of an oasis in the city.

The idea of the heavy wall is to reduce noise from the railway in the office spaces as well as in the park. The wall lends to a coherent expression of the office buildings – and generates a strong impact when viewed from the train.

The archiTecTure The building complex with its heavy back turned towards the traffic, becomes transparent towards the park and the green outdoor areas – pri-oritizing contact between indoor and outdoor.

The flexibiliTy

The facTs

From the central atrium visitors and employees can reach the six different floors using the elegant main stair or the two elevators. Additionally, a freight elevator and two fire stairs provide access to the basement’s storage and technical rooms.

From the atrium’s ground floor there is access to the canteen. From here you can step out on the ter-race and enjoy your lunch in the sun.

Furthermore, there is a large conference room that easily can be trans-formed into two smaller conference rooms. Here it is possible to hold recep-tions, lectures or meetings.

On penthouse floor more formal meeting and conference facilities are located, which are shared by the building tenants. There is also a large roof terrace with the opportu-nity to relax and enjoy the view over the office park and the area.

On all floors smaller meet-ing facilities are placed for private or common use. kitchenettes and rooms for printing will be installed according to wishes and demands.
