I am excited to invite YOU to a Therapy Days of Summer Weekend being held at the Super 8 in New Hampton. We will start on Friday, July 12, at 9 a.m. and sew until Sunday, July 14, at noon. Make plans now to join us as we enjoy each other’s quilting passion and sew away. We will be featuring Sandi Irish of the Irish Chain Pattern Company. Sandi has been quilting for over 23 years, teaching and working in a quilt shop as well as designing quilts for companies like Timeless Treasures Fabrics and doing other commissioned works. She has always preferred to create her own designs or adapt traditional quilts to her own style, starting a pattern company was a natural step to take. Irish Chain patterns are easy enough for beginners but also give more advanced quilters a chance to sharpen piecing skills, play with color and just have fun. All the patterns are rotary cut and machine pieced. On Friday, Sandi plans to sit and work on some of her own UFO's with us, provide us with a trunk show, and get us ready to sew one of her designs on Saturday. You are NOT required to participate in this project. If you choose this option, you will receive 50% off the pattern and template needed. We ask that you bring the supplies for it along with you. If you decide at the last minute that you want to join in on the project, you will have the opportunity to shop at Addicted 2 Stitchin' on Friday after the trunk show. Show and Tell will be Saturday around 4 p.m. We encourage you to share your talent with all of us. Registration will be accepted on a first come first serve basis. The cost to attend the retreat Friday through Sunday will be $125.00 per person. Your fee includes 2 lunches, 2 evening meals, coffee, water, memories, and fun. You are welcome to bring snacks and other drinks.

Lodging is available at the Super 8 and will be in addition to the retreat fee. There is a block of rooms reserved. The room rate will be $87.55 per night (includes tax.) This special rate is good no matter if you have a single occupancy or up to four per room. If you stay at the Super 8, a continental breakfast is provided. To ensure that you will have a room in our block, call the hotel by July 1, 2019. We are open to questions or suggestions.
