Warehouse-Past-Prime-Turned-Très-Cool

New City has just completed a fun local project with Financial Risk Group (FRG), a homegrown risk management solutions company whose original offices were on Academy Street in Downtown Cary. When the “House of Lights” warehouse around the corner at 264 W. Chatham became available (a building viewed by most as a model of 1970’s architectural underachievement), FRG’s John Bell and Mike Forno approached New City about a creative re-use of the old metal structure. The result? A techie re-boot, complete with a glass curtain wall addressing Chatham Street, an open mezzanine, and an industrial vibe throughout. The building’s 14,000 square feet of re-imagined space will accommodate FRG’s growth and prosperity for years to come.
