June 28 - July 8, 2021 Dear Quadrille........ Thank you so much for letting us stay at Quadrille due to a double booking at a different Villa at Silver Sands which could have ruined our plans. You were guys were SO EASY to work with and we had an amazing time. So much so that we can not wait to come back again! Dan and Sandi D., Ryan, Mandi, Aidan, and Zane H. We were able to relax and enjoy our vacation without having to think about all the stresses of day-to-day life. Thank you again!! What a magnificent way to vacation!! We have been coming to Silver Sands, Jamaica since 1987 and this Villa and staff are by far the best we have ever experienced. Our only regrets are we did not stay long enough. As I am sitting here at the desk in the "Al Cazar" master bedroom overlooking Paradise I am saddened to leave but excited because we will be back! My family traveled from California to be with my mom and sister and her family. It was the first time that I had seen any of them sine 2019. We also have been coming to Silver Sands since 1987 and Julie is right, this was (BY FAR) our favorite Villa ever and our favorite staff ever. Hyacinth and Cheryl were delightful and professional in every way. The food was amazing....always in perfect order and delightfully presented. We absolutely LOVE Jamaica and Quadrille made our vacation that much better. Thanks to all of you for sharing your space, for all your hard work and for all your time. March 29th, 2019 This is our second trip back to "paradise" at Quadrille Villa! The service and food that Hyacinth and Cheryl create are simply top notch. Hyacinth and Sheryl were so welcoming, loving and flexible with our wishes and Hyacinth's food was delicious. We loved being surprised by every Jamaican specialty and it was great not having to cook! We did a few excursions but our favorite thing was wave jumping near the Villa and relaxing looking at the breathtaking view from the outside terrace while listening to the surf! We also enjoyed spending time with Hyacinth and Sheryl and playing all the board games that were provided. We learned a lot about Jamaica culture from Trevor Cameron (the Quadrille driver).......he was fun and engaging! We will dream of Quadrille at night and we hope to return. We were here with one son, wife and three kids and they had a great time. The beach was definitely the kid's favorite past time. We found the Villa so comfortable and SO COZY. The view is amazing but the best part for us was the constant sound of the surf on the beach below the house! What can we say about Hyacinth and Sheryl---they not only are wonderful, warm and loving---they are amazing at their jobs. Totally beautiful people inside and out. July 2018 We loved our experience at Quadrille! The Villa is beautiful and the hospitality exhibited by the staff far exceeded any hotel in which we have ever stayed. This has been an experience like none other. The Villa is beautiful.....from the traditional architecture....to the cliffside setting and privacy......Quadrille offered us far more than we anticipated. Hyacinth and Cheryl made this one of the best vacation experiences we have ever had. They tended to our every need and completely spoiled us. OMG.....it's over....our week of sheer joy and relaxation. As a Jamaican, I expected all of this beauty and love that I again
found in my people. When you see the warm smile of a Jamaican......you know it's real!
Our family experienced real smiles and we were shown warmth by all especially from the two ladies here at
Quadrille....my "mom" Hyacinth and my "Auntie Cheryl". We love them.....our children love them and my husband loves
them. Quadrille is named after our old Jamaican folk dance and is an amazing villa! The views are pristine and

Quadrille was superb as usual.........the Villa was magnificent and Hyacinth did a great job cooking stuffed crab backs, barracuda and mahi mahi for us........... Do not miss her carrot cake as we had that too for a birthday celebration! We also saw a humpback whale on our fishing expedition on the North Coast. Who would have thought our little fishing
trip would turn into a whale watching expedition!!?

This was our 7th time to Silver Sands and Quadrille did not disappoint! Spectacular views, wonderful house and such a
welcoming staff. Hyacinth served us wonderful meals every single day and and made sure we were all happy with her
selections and cooking. NO complaints!! All delicious!! Cheryl was so helpful with meals too as well as keeping the home
tidy and doing our laundry. Quadrille is truly a vacation that CANNOT be replicated. We love our visits to Jamaica and

A home away from home.........Quadrille Villa for Christmas 2016 and New Year’s 2017
What a beautiful home........so picturesque and tranquil........but with a hardworking and welcoming staff. Hyacinth kept
us well fed with incredible meals. Cheryl was so accommodating and was always anticipating all our needs for our large
family. As a mother of three children, enjoying a vacation where I don't have to manage my families’ laundry while
planning and cooking their meals is a wonderful break for me!! I cannot thank Hyacinth and Cheryl enough for providing
me with this much needed respite from my routine.
While this is our third trip to Silver Sands, we particularly loved your villa - the set-up, design, decor, the views, ocean front location, easy beach access, beautiful gardens, privacy, staff, pool, hammocks, etc etc. It was perfect for us. The small bit of constructive feedback that I would give is regarding the master bed. My wife has a bad back and the stiffness was a challenge for her. Obviously, this is to personal taste so not a big deal in the big picture, but wanted you to know. Nonetheless, all-in-all, our experience was a 10 out of 10. We LOVE Silver Sands......the beautiful beach.......and had fun shopping at Fisherman's Village.....(just a short walk away). We enjoyed a trip to Dolphin Encounters and great food at Scotchie's and Miss T's in Ocho Rios. All in all............a GREAT vacation from start to finish. Thanks to everyone who made this a vacation none of us will ever forget! The Meluccis and friends....... My daughter celebrated her 40th birthday this year and as both her and my son have recently married, we have a much
bigger family. We wanted to do something special as a "new" family and SPECIAL this was!!
The views from the Villa have to be one of the prettiest in the Caribbean. We thought we would take more excursions
but found we were happiest just staying here and enjoying the beauty and the serenity. Hyacinth's reputation as a good
cook is well earned and Cheryl is so sweet and accommodating. Curried goat, lobster, conch, Curried shrimp and
noodles....YUM! Thanks Hyacinth! We hope to return soon!

This is our 3rd stay at Quadrille and again it was superb. A chance to relax and eat Hyacinth’s great food! On you next
visit you MUST ask Hyacinth to bake you a carrot cake and cook her signature "bitter callaloo". Cheryl's advice on
motorcycling in Jamaica was invaluable and I think that she is a secret "biker"........
Oh........and the dolphin (Mahi-Mahi) that was cooked for us was the best in the world. Hopefully we will return
again........or we might be next door neighbors!!

and we have stayed in and seen a lot of villas here.
This home has it all. Fabulous location with stairs to the beach........it all works. And we loved the hammocks in the
gazebo.......lots of space and a great layout! Both Cheryl and Hyacinth are lovely and gracious. Good food, polite........and
both are great housekeepers. Fantastic week and we will be back.

Thanks to everyone at Quadrille for a relaxing and wonderful week of fun. Everything was excellent at Quadrille and we loved the delicious meals.......especially the jerk pork and chicken and the Johnnycakes. The house was always spotless and our clothes perfectly laundered. We enjoyed the beach, pool, dining outdoors and an interesting trip to Blue Hole near Ocho Rios. Wonderful memories were created at Beautiful Quadrille Villa this 4th of July weekend! Ms. Hyacinth and Ms. Cheryl are amazing. We were shocked by the care and love they displayed to my family and friends during our visit. Every meal was absolutely delicious........pleasing to the eye.......and the aromas they poured from the kitchen were too good to be true. Thank you for the wonderful graciousness you provided Jake and I. Quadrille is a beautiful paradise, somewhere we
never want to leave! Writing this seems too close to the end. I want to try and make this day last forever. We will never
forget the great meals we had and I cannot wait to get home and try some of the recipes myself! My food probably
won't be as good but it will remind us of paradise! Hopefully we will return as we would love to stay at the amazing

This was out fifth trip to Jamaica. The Quadrille staff was so nice, fun and efficient too! Hyacinth was the BEST cook by

Quadrille has the most amazing view........and the constant sounds of the waves hitting the shore are mesmerizing. Our
family enjoyed the Silver Sands area along with the bar and grill and gorgeous beach. Quadrille Villa is so well kept and

We are now waddling back to the frozen tundra of New Jersey. It was so wonderful being here, being WARM and being

Firstly.....thank you so much for welcoming us into Quadrille! It was so peaceful to be able to wake up to this amazing

Waking up every morning to fantastic food and amazing staff was truly a blessing. Quadrille rocketed to the top of my
list and I hope it does the same for yours. We had a fantastic time as Quadrille is definitely a paradise. Thanks to

This has been one of the most fulfilling vacations for our family ever. Quadrille exceeded our expectations with its
aesthetics, fabulous staff and peacefulness. Our meals were prepared with expertise by Ms. Hyacinth and our living
quarters were well maintained by Cheryl. The beautiful grounds added a wonderful ambiance and were maintained by
our grounds man. All of the aforementioned combined with the stunning view offered the tranquility that each member
of my family adored. We also want to thank Kirk Grant, our driver, who spoke very highly of Quadrille. His remarks

Quadrille Villa exceeded all our expectations. Our group of six have had a magical and restorative time at this wonderful home. The food was simply outstanding as Hyacinth is a master chef! Thanks to Dwight too for the magnificent garden. Swimming every morning on Silver Sands beach was exquisite as were the moonlight swims in our pool. Quadrille Villa was more than we could have hoped for! We had six children, a son-in-law and even an 18 month old grand-daughter that joined us and everyone had so much fun. The view is breath taking and our own private staircase to the beach were some of the high-lights of this wonderful place! We realized how blessed we were to be here for a week as I am SURE this is the most beautiful home in Silver Sands. The beach was pristine and the sea was warm and clear. Tennis and football were the sports of choice for our sons. Hyacinth and Sheryl were wonderful with delicious smells coming from the kitchen and the anticipation of what amazing meal was next! We sat on the terrace at nights and watched the beautiful stars and enjoyed the tropical breezes. Trevor (your/our driver) was a lovely person.....kind, patient.... and he even took us to church twice! Thanks to Dwight too for the beautiful gardens and sparkling clean pool. Our rooms were spotless with fresh towels daily.......we loved it. We hope to return someday soon for another amazing vacation at Quadrille!!! With gratitude.......

Dear Hyacinth and Sheryl,
Although our time spent together was short we felt very welcome and at home at Quadrille. Although we were out of
the house traveling about for a good portion of our visit seeing the sights and touring Jamaica, we always came back to a
spotless Villa and a nice home cooked meal. We are desperately in need of a Quadrille cookbook/menu. Never the less
the food was "YUM"......as one if us put it! The view was amazing along with the stairway to the water and the
hammocks in the gazebo being a few of my favorite things about Quadrille. But even this does not scratch the surface of
the fun and excitement we shared at this home. One of our group mentioned that this Villa was the nicest he had ever
seen and wished he could steal the house and take it with him!!

We spent four nights and five fantastic days at Quadrille. We enjoyed lots of great activities which included Dunn's Falls,
sport fishing (they were delicious) and plenty of beach and pool time. At the heart of this wonderful experience were

My husband planned this trip for myself and our six children for Spring Break. Although it took us ten hours and a
connection to arrive in Montego Bay we were happy as the weather was warm and sunny. We were greeted by Kirk and
Trevor.......our drivers for the week that work with Quadrille and guests. They were friendly, warm and
welcoming....what a treat! They answered all our questions and were our personal guides for the ride to Quadrille.
All of our jaws dropped when we pulled in front of this beautiful home with its white fence and manicured gardens. We
were greeted by Hyacinth and Sheryl. They had dinner cooking and the house smelled great! I walked through this
magnificent home to the terrace overlooking the sea and saw the breath taking view. I was so overwhelmed I started to
cry. My husband said that he thought the reality of Quadrille was better than the pictures that he had seen!
Our week here has been amazing with great golf, massages, Dunn's River Falls, zip lines and caves. I wish I could take
Sheryl and Hyacinth home with me as we have made friends and shared stories. I feel blessed to have met them as well
as Trevor and Kirk. Thank you for sharing this absolutely wonderful home with us and we will spread the word to our
family and friends about this diamond on the Jamaica seashore. This was a trip of a lifetime!!

Quadrille is Paradise....... An experience for a lifetime, remembered for a lifetime. Sometimes you are lucky enough to experience something you are never to forget and what you measure everything else from. For me that place is Quadrille. Quadrille's presence with its 180 degree views of the water and beach below is indescribably beautiful and peaceful. The house is so well maintained, elegant in every way and offers much privacy for every guest there. Surprising, the house is a home in many different way. As a host, you welcomed me, made me feel so comfortable and were interested in making sure that my visit was the best that it could be. The personal care and attention given by your staff Hyacinth and Cheryl made my visit there very pleasant as well. They were actually interested in making sure that they could do everything they could for me. Their wonderfully prepared meals were very much appreciated. My shopping experience with Hyacinth was exciting, educational and I felt protected at all times. I appreciate your hospitality, our conversations and the fun we had while in Jamaica.

Jamaica is beautiful! Quadrille makes it magical!
We came for my 40th Birthday with friends from all over the world to celebrate a milestone and Quadrille helped make
it perfect! We have stayed in other villas but none of them compare to Quadrille. The house is beautiful, the views are
breathtaking and the staff is superb. Together it adds up to a magical experience.

This was the perfect honeymoon spot! We had never stayed in a villa before and we didn't know what to expect. We
were pleasantly surprised! Hyacinth and Cheryl were so nice and kept the house spotless and our laundry clean. The

to Jamaica for over half my life.......happily my accommodations have improved with each successive visit. The constancy

me the most. Coming from the frozen tundra we appreciate the ever present warm trade winds, warm sun and sand.

This week was the ultimate vacation.........a total departure from our daily lives! Quadrille was phenomenal, gorgeous, perfectly appointed with a great lay out. I'm sitting on the patio with a pleasant breeze on an 84 degree day (March) watching some of my kids play in the
beautifully crystal clear ocean as my wife and other kids Cherare lying around the pool. Hyacinth (the villa cook) is busy
fixing a tremendous lobster dinner in the kitchen Cheryl (the housekeeper) is dutifully finishing tiding up and doing all
the laundry. I'm wondering what the rest of the world is doing?
This is and has been just too good to believe and it all started so horribly. I'm a detail oriented planning kind of guy. For
those like me, you know it's a blessing and a bane. We usually use VRBO to go on our adventures and I did all the
prerequisite work/research and had booked a Villa thru them before Xmas. Sadly to find out later that their site had
been hijacked and the down payment funds paid were long gone. Worst of all when the scammer came back for the rest
of the money and we wanted to work with VRBO to catch him they couldn't be bothered and even denied any
wrongdoing or responsibility essentially blaming me for using their inquiry tab. How dare I. Anyway that saga has been
documented elsewhere and with so many fellow victims coming forward it's crazy. Crazier is how VRBO treated the
actual Villa owner blaming her as well and losing her listing. The silver lining and beginning of the ecstasy was the
original rental owner (whose Villa wasn't really available) worked so wonderfully with us to find Quadrille thru a friends
service Jamaican Treasures (highly recommended.)
Quadrille - start by looking at the pics provided and you should get a good idea of the basics. Incredible views, quality accommodations, spectacular setting just to start. The transfers to and from the Villa are Included which if you know what the fees can be it’s a nice touch. We arrived very late, just after midnight and upon walking in the door there was Hyacinth and Cheryl to greet us and provide a much appreciated late night meal of hearty warming chicken soup and the best darn tuna fish sandwiches any of us have ever had. After a detailed tour, we explored, stood on the deck and had a few drinks then settled down to a well-deserved nights rest.
The next morning we awoke to a scrumptious breakfast with our discussed favorites and more. We had prearranged
that we liked certain things and also asked if Hyacinth would please feel free to fix us local specialties and her own
favorites. We can't tell you what a good idea this was. For the past week have been dining like Jamaican royalty.
Breakfast is promptly at 9:30, lunch (if you've got room) Fish and Dinner at 5:30. We thought it a bit late for breakfast
and early for dinner and we were wrong, it's perfect. We had planned to dine out often and ended up dining off
property once and lunch twice at the clubhouse so hopefully that says something as well.
The property is in exquisite shape and the ladies and Dwight (the gardener) keep it clean to perfection. While Hyacinth is keeping our belly's full, Cheryl is keeping everything spotless and in place. She did our laundry "everyday" so you can truly cut down on the packing especially the undergarments as two pair would be plenty. Fresh towels both shower and pool every day, fresh linen, and so much more.
I have to be honest and say that we didn't really enjoy our first excursion out of the Silver Sands facility. Sadly the economic plight is such that we were completely overwhelmed with the misrepresentations and outright scams we were subject to nonstop while using the Chukka service and at normal local businesses. It was so bad that we opted out of the rest of our plans. I won't go into detail because you can find that elsewhere but I only bring it to light to tell the rest of the story. Along with Quadrille you get to be part of the Silver Sands resort community. It is more of a laid back collection of homes with a common beach area that serves the community with a bar, snack bar and small but surprisingly well stocked mini store. There's beach toy rentals from boogie boards to wind surfers and the staff is part of what we think most of us came here for. Needless to say we loved their service from the funny bartenders, accommodating lifeguard and dancing beach attendant. They kept us laughing and taken care of as well. And the pricing was sooo fair (you can run a tab for your whole stay). Which only made Quadrille an even better experience. So besides a trip to Evita's (recommended) we stayed the rest of our trip on property at Quadrille & the clubhouse and couldn't be more pleased. You'll need more suntan lotion than you ever thought possible. Depending on the season & maybe a bit of off. But the ocean, the view, the Villa, the staff, the pool, the sun, the food and drink more than made up for anything that was unfortunate. So come to Jamaica, rent Quadrille and there will be "no problem". Sorry gotta go the lobster is ready and we never keep Hyacinth waiting. - cheers!!! far. Hyacinth and Cheryl were fantastic! They really know how to take care of you and make you feel like you are at

We stayed at Quadrille for 6 days for our family vacation. It was a wonderful time. The view is amazing from every room
and the staff was great! We had good Jamaican food, banana bread, etc. This was a great way to spend our week of

This was our first trip to Jamaica. WOW...what an amazing place. We truly enjoyed staying at Quadrille as it is such a
beautiful home filed with character and charm. It was wonderful to wake up every morning to the sound of the ocean
and watch the sunset every evening. Hyacinth and Sheryl spoiled us! Every meal was incredible and the house was
spotless. I wish I could take them home with me. We came with family and friends and it was one of the most

What a fantastic way to experience my first trip to Jamaica!! Quadrille villa is beautiful, well-kept and the staff were truly
fantastic. What we asked to be served at mealtime was provided with a smile and tasted fantastic, especially the Key
Lime pie, jerk chicken and the corn fritters! It was thrilling to be able to swim in the private pool cliff side, relax in the
gazebo, and then walk down to the beach for a quick dip! My bedroom was large and comfortable too........overall I had
a GREAT time and can't wait to come back to Jamaica!

Quadrille is a great oasis to vacation! Although it rained on and off the week we were there, Jamaica is a beautiful place

It was truly a week in paradise! The house is so beautiful and the view is amazing, especially when the cruise ships pass
by! WOW!! We body surfed, we snorkeled, hung out in the pool and totally relaxed. Hyacinth cooked up some of the

The nine of us were treated like royalty by Hyacinth and Cheryl. Their smiles, home-made meals and stories made
Quadrille feel like a home away from home. The night time stars, the beach front, the ocean and the music made this
Christmas trip so special. It's going to be difficult going home to snow and ice cold, but the warm memories (and

Dear Mr. & Mrs. Elslager; My husband & I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for letting us stay in your
beautiful villa. Dan & I have had such a wonderful & relaxing time here at Quadrille. We have absolutely loved our stay
here in Jamaica. Hyacinth has been so wonderful to my husband and me. She is such a wonderful woman, not to
mention she is a wonderful cook! She has done such an amazing job & has made our stay here at Quadrille something
my husband and I will never forget. Both Elaine & Hyacinth were fabulous. We truly appreciate their hard work.
Everything about your home is beautiful & luxurious. There truly has never been a place I did not want to leave until we
stayed here at Quadrille. Thank you for allowing my husband and me to be your quests. We will definitely encourage our

4/26/08 Quadrille is the place to be. It's full of surprises to say the least. The hired help is just awesome! Hyacinth &
Elaine are their names. Just take a short walk and a Jamaican man is cleaning his fish of the day. The surroundings make
you feel like royalty is my name. The breeze from the ocean is so spectacular on my face. The inner calmness that brings
you to that meditative state. Make sure you have your sunscreen or just sit in the shade, go swimming or be lazy and
float for the day. Relax in the hammock with your favorite good book! I just fell asleep and felt so at peace. There is just
so much for me to explain! All the wonderful moments all through my stay. It taught me more about what to
appreciate...it brings tears to my eyes. That's life, time to say goodbye. Thanks for the wonderful friends, and new ones
I've made. Thanks for all the blessings that have come my way, snorkeling was like amazing grace! These memories will
truly be in my heart always. I will cherish these days.

I have been coming to Silver Sands for 20+ years, always dreaming of staying in the magnificent Quadrille. This week was
a gift - my wife and I needed a vacation so badly, and we got to spend it here with her family! Elaine, Hyacinth and Alfie
kept us happy as did the pool, Caribbean and the views! Thanks so much- Can't wait for the next time -

Let us tell you about this place in Jamaica!!!
Nestled among the hibiscus, bougainvillea, coconuts, orchids, butterflies and birds is Quadrille...a beautiful glimpse of
paradise on the north shore of Jamaica. Sitting high on the cliffs overlooking the Carib Sea, Quadrille welcomes each
guest through its newly-built entryway. Hyacinth & Elaine welcomes us with huge smiles and open arms, welcoming us
back for our second visit. The kitchen is already full of the wonderful smells of Hyacinth's baked chicken and key lime
pie. As Elaine and I exchange hugs and kisses, the view of the Carib Sea past the shiny marble floors beckons to all of us.
We already feel at home !!! The new appointments to the living room are perfect. Hyacinth & Elaine, both, take us on a
tour, being so happy about the newly-decorated bedrooms, all so handsomely and tropically appointed. Everything is so
sparkling white, clean and perfect to frame the views of the ocean. The pool glistens below us !!! The red steps to the
gazebo and on to the sea are lined with new rope handrails, blending beautifully with the tropical plants and flowers.
Paul and Denton (our drivers) made sure our holiday was nothing short of exceptional. Both gentlemen were very
knowledgeable and courteous, taking us wherever our hearts decided. And the meals were spectacular with Hyacinth's
little Jamaican secrets, which made every dish special and prepared with love, just for us. The mornings with our Blue
Mountain coffee, watching the sun come up was a special treat, especially when a rainbow over the sea decided to show
its wonderful colors to us. The sunsets were spectacular and the full moon was just an added bonus. Thanks too to John
the Fisherman and our dear friend, Lawrence, on the beach.
When Paul picked us up at the airport, we knew we were back, happy, and so blessed to experience everything that
makes Quadrille the best house in Silver Sands.

8/8/2007 We were thrilled to visit Quadrille as guests this time instead of owners. The improvements you both worked
so hard on look fantastic. Love the stained Dark wood furniture, doors, light fixtures and wall technique. It is a huge
improvement and no doubt there will be a lot more in the future that will be fun to see. Hyacinth and Elaine.........we

What can you say about Paradise? This has truly been the most relaxing Vacation ever. Quadrille..........the most
