    Headmasters Newsletter 40 19th June 2015

It was a varied week, with Year 3 and 4 having a splendid time at the Hornimans Museum, followed later on by Year 3s class assemblies about strong val-ues and remembering others needs. This chimed readily with Year 6s sterling efforts in fundraising for the local childrens charity ChYps. They raised over 600, a fantastic effort indeed.

The Gravesham U11 multi-sports event was very successful for Bronte. We came 1st in both tennis and petanque, and were equal 1st over-all. Next years reception class happily had their second story afternoon. On that day too, the Advisory Board members, Robin Lewis, Catherine Mentzel and a certain Richard Dyson, visited the School and the Nursery, and much enjoyed all they saw. House Rounders, which took place this after-noon resulted in an 18 18 draw between Hood and Nelson. Do try and come if you can to A Midsummer Nights Dream, with performances on both Wednesday and Thursday next week. Also, fin-gers crossed for sunny warm weather for Joss Bay on Monday! See next page for looking ahead!
