Adoration of the Most
Blessed Sacrament
When He returned, He found them asleep. He said to Peter, "Simon, are you asleep? Could you not keep
watch for one hour?" Mark 14:37
Come and spend the most peaceful hour (or part of
an hour) of your week with Jesus. Each Friday
after the 9 AM Mass, the Blessed Sacrament is
exposed upon the altar in the Lower Church. The
recitation of the Chaplet of Divine Mercy will take
place at 3:00pm, followed by reposition. Please
join us. We are committed to having at least two
persons present at all times of Adoration. There is
a sign-in book in the Gathering Room near the
entrance to the Mary Chapel. If you can commit
just one hour or more, please contact Ursula
Koslowski at 781/729-6170 or email: [email protected].

Did you know that St. Mary Church has a Personal PA
Tour Guide System available for those with difficulty
hearing? The parish has three lightweight, multi-
channel systems that help listen directly to the sound
coming through the public address system. Volume
controls are easy to use. If you want to use the Personal
PA Tour Guide, simply come to the sacristy before
Mass to borrow a unit, and return it after Mass.

Pentecost Sunday
It is Pentecost Sunday! The message in today’s scriptures are clear: “As the Father has sent me, so I send you…” “they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in different tongues…” Now we are called to proclaim the good news of salvation in words and deeds—which simply means sharing with others how God has worked in our lives. Pray to the Holy Spirit this week asking for the courage to bear witness to Christ’s love.

Today’s Reflection
When the disciples received the Holy Spirit, they were able
to proclaim God’s word in a way that everyone could
understand, no matter their culture, country or language.
When early Christians received the Holy Spirit, they were
able to serve the body of Christ, the church, with unique
spiritual gifts. Since we have received the Holy Spirit and
continue to be filled with the Holy Spirit, let us ponder
how we can use our gifts to the benefit of others.
