Page 1: June 19, 2012You have washed us with your blood, You have washed us with your blood, You have washed us with your blood, You are worthy, Lamb… You have washed us with your blood,

Let us sing, though fierce temptation Threatens hard to bear us down. For the Lord our strong salvation,

Holds in view the conqueror’s crown.

He who washed us with his blood, He who washed us with his blood, He who washed us with his blood, Soon will bring us home to God.

Let us wonder grace and justice, Join and point to mercy's store.

When through grace in Christ our trust is, Justice smiles and asks no more.

He who washed us with his blood, He who washed us with his blood, He who washed us with his blood,

Has secured our way to God.

Let us praise and join the chorus Of the saints enthroned on high. Here they trusted him before us,

Now their praises fill the sky.

You have washed us with your blood, You have washed us with your blood, You have washed us with your blood,

You are worthy, Lamb…

You have washed us with your blood, You have washed us with your blood, You have washed us with your blood,

You are worthy, Lamb of God. Traditional lyrics by John Newton (alt. by Laura Taylor) / Music by Laura Taylor ©2001 Laura Taylor Music | Arr. Richard Van Voorst (ASCAP) | CCLI#249303

Prelude Introit—"Lord of Creation" Call to Worship

“Come, Thou Almighty King” Come, Thou Almighty King, Help us Thy Name to sing,

Help us to praise: Father, all glorious, O’er all victorious,

Come and reign over us, Ancient of Days.

Come, Thou incarnate Word, Gird on Thy mighty Sword,

Our prayer attend. Come and Thy people bless, And give Thy Word success,

Spirit of holiness, on us descend. (Chorus)

Come, Holy Comforter, Thy sacred witness bear

In this glad hour. Thou, Who almighty art, Now rule in every heart,

And ne'er from us depart, Spirit of power.

(Chorus)

Chorus

Holy, holy, holy Is the Lord God Almighty.

Who was and is and is to come; With all creation I sing

Praise to the King of kings; You are my ev'rything And I will adore You.

Clothed in rainbows of living color, Flashes of lightning,

Rolls of thunder; Blessing and honor, strength and

Glory and power be To You, the only wise King.

(Chorus)

Filled with wonder, Awestruck wonder,

At the mention of Your name; Jesus, Your name is power,

Breath and living water, Such a marv'lous mystery.

“Let Us Love and Sing and Wonder” Let us love and sing and wonder, Let us praise the Savior's name,

He has hushed the law's loud thunder, He has quenched Mt. Sinai's flame.

He has washed us with His blood, He has washed us with His blood, He has washed us with His blood,

He has brought us nigh to God.

Let us love the Lord who bought us, Pitied us when enemies,

Called us by His grace and taught us, Gave us ears and gave us eyes.

He has washed us with His blood, He has washed us with His blood, He has washed us with His blood,

He presents our souls to God.

Page 3: June 19, 2012You have washed us with your blood, You have washed us with your blood, You have washed us with your blood, You are worthy, Lamb… You have washed us with your blood,

“The Communion Hymn (Behold The Lamb)” Behold the Lamb who bears our sins away,

Slain for us—and we remember The promise made that all who come in faith

Find forgiveness at the cross. So we share in this Bread of Life,

And we drink of His sacrifice As a sign of our bonds of peace Around the table of the King.

The body of our Savior Jesus Christ, Torn for you—eat and remember;

The wounds that heal, the death that brings us life Paid the price to make us one.

So we share in this Bread of Life, And we drink of His sacrifice

As a sign of our bonds of love Around the table of the King.

The blood that cleanses every stain of sin, Shed for you—drink and remember

He drained death's cup that all may enter in To receive the life of God.

So we share in this Bread of Life, And we drink of His sacrifice

As a sign of our bonds of grace Around the table of the King.

And so with thankfulness and faith we rise To respond—and to remember

Our call to follow in the steps of Christ As His body here on earth.

As we share in His suffering, We proclaim Christ will come again! And we'll join in the feast of heaven

Around the table of the King. CCLI Song # 5003372 | Keith Getty | Kristyn Getty | Stuart Townend © 2007 Thankyou Music (Admin. by EMI Christian Music Publishing)

“Revelation Song”

Worthy is the Lamb who was slain; Holy, holy is He;

Sing a new song to Him Who sits on Heaven's mercy seat.

To Thee, Great One in Three, Eternal praises be Hence evermore.

Thy Sovereign Majesty, May we in glory see,

And to eternity love and adore. (Chorus)

“Your Great Name We Praise (Immortal Invisible)”

Immortal, invisible, God only wise; In light inaccessible hid from our eyes;

Most holy, most glorious, the Ancient of Days; Almighty, victorious, Your great Name we praise!

Unresting, unhasting, and silent as light; Not wanting, or wasting, You rule us in might.

Your justice like mountains high soaring above; Your clouds which are fountains of goodness and love.

(Chorus)

All life comes from You, Lord, to both great and small. In all life You live, Lord, the true Life of all.

We blossom and flourish, but quickly grow frail; We wither and perish, but You never fail!

(Chorus)

Great Father of Glory, pure Father of Light, Your angels adore You, all veiling their sight. All praise we will render, oh Father of Grace, Till one day in splendor we see face to face!

Chorus

Page 4: June 19, 2012You have washed us with your blood, You have washed us with your blood, You have washed us with your blood, You are worthy, Lamb… You have washed us with your blood,

Psalm 99 The Lord reigns, let the nations tremble; he sits enthroned between the cherubim, let the earth shake. Great is the Lord in Zion; he is exalted over all the nations. Let them praise your great and awesome name — he is holy. The King is mighty, he loves justice — You have established equity; in Jacob you have done what is just and right. Exalt the Lord our God and worship at his footstool; He is holy. Moses and Aaron were among his priests, Samuel was among those who called on his name; they called on the Lord and he answered them. He spoke to them from the pillar of cloud; they kept his statutes and the decrees he gave them. O Lord our God, you answered them; you were to Israel a forgiving God, though you punished their misdeeds. Exalt the Lord our God and worship at his holy mountain, for the Lord our God is holy.

“Holy Holy Holy” Holy, holy, holy. Holy, holy, holy.

Holy is the Lord God Almighty. Worthy to receive glory. Worthy to receive honor.

Worthy to receive all our praise today.

Praise Him. Praise Him and lift Him up.

Praise Him. Exalt His name forever. CCLI Song # 565984 | Gary Oliver

Prayer of Confession

Assurance of Pardon

Lord, we remember You, And remembrance leads us to worship.

And as we worship You, Our worship leads to communion.

We respond to Your invitation. We remember You.

See His body, His blood; Know that He has overcome

Ev'ry trial we will face. And none too lost to be saved, None too broken or ashamed, All are welcome in this place.

By Your mercy we come to Your table. By Your grace You are making us faithful.

Lord, we remember You, And remembrance leads us to worship.

And as we worship You, Our worship leads to communion.

We respond to Your invitation. We remember You.

Dying, You destroyed our death. Rising, You restored our life.

Lord Jesus, come in glory. Lord Jesus, come in glory. Lord Jesus, come in glory. Lord Jesus, come in glory.

Lord, we remember You, And remembrance leads us to worship.

And as we worship You, Our worship leads to communion.

We respond to Your invitation. We respond to Your invitation.

We remember You. CCLI Song # 5484616 | Matt Maher | Matt Redman

Pour out your Holy Spirit on us gathered here, and on these gifts of bread and wine. Make them be for us the body and blood of Christ so that in eating & drinking, we may be filled with your life, your goodness & your healing for by his stripes we are healed.

By your Spirit, make us one with Christ, one with each other, and one in ministry to all the world, until Christ comes in final victory, and we feast at his heavenly banquet. Through your Son Jesus Christ, with the Holy Spirit in your holy church, all honor and glory is yours, almighty Father, now and for ever. Amen.

And now with the confidence of the children of God, let us pray:

The Lord's Prayer Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy Name. Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, For ever and ever. Amen. Come to the Table

Worshipers may ingest the bread immediately or by intinction. Those abstaining from Eucharist are encouraged to cross their arms to receive a blessing. Those in need of prayer are encouraged to visit the

prayer area to the right. Gluten-free bread is available upon request on the left end of the altar.

“Remembrance (The Communion Song)” Oh, how could it be

That my God would welcome me Into this mystery,

Say, “Take this bread, take this wine.” Now the simple made divine

For any to receive.

By Your mercy we come to Your table. By Your grace You are making us faithful.

“Nothing But The Blood” What can wash away my sin?

Nothing but the blood of Jesus. What can make me whole again? Nothing but the blood of Jesus.

O, precious is the flow That makes me white as snow.

No other fount I know, Nothing but the blood of Jesus.

Apostles' Creed Do you believe and trust in God the Father?

We believe in God, the Father Almighty, creator of heaven and earth.

Do you believe and trust in God the Son?

We believe in Jesus Christ, God's only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried; He descended to the dead. On the third day he rose from the dead; he ascended into heaven. and is seated at the right hand of the Father; from there he will come again to judge the living and the dead.

Do you believe and trust in the Holy Spirit?

We believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy, catholic Church, the fellowship of the saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life eternal. Amen. Prayers of the People In your mercy, Lord, Hear our prayer. Passing of the Peace Worship Through Giving

“Offering” The sun cannot compare To the glory of Your love.

There is no shadow in Your presence.

No mortal man would dare to stand before Your throne, Before the Holy One of heaven.

It's only by Your blood, And it's only through Your mercy, Lord, I come.

I bring an offering of worship to my King. No one on earth deserves the praises that I sing.

Jesus, may You receive The honor that You're due.

O Lord, I bring an offering to You. CCLI Song # 3956562 | Paul Baloche

Sursum Corda The Lord be with you. And also with you. Lift up your hearts. We lift them up to the Lord. Let us give thanks to the Lord our God. It is right to give our thanks and praise.

It is right, and a good and joyful thing, always and everywhere to give thanks to you, Father Almighty, creator of heaven and earth for revealing to us by the power of your Holy Spirit, the blazing splendor of your glory, shining forth in the face of Christ so that the light of the knowledge of your glory may be revealed in your work of healing & wholeness of body, mind, spirit & relationships.

And so gratefully, with your people on earth and all the company of heaven we praise your name and join their unending hymn: Prayer of Thanksgiving Sanctus
