Managing Editor Requests changes• However, before we can proceed with the review process we ask you to make the following changes to your
submission in line with the JSES guide for authors which is recommended reading for all those preparing a JSES
submission:
(1) On your Title Page, please include a six-word running title. This running-title should also be inserted into the
Header Space of your manuscript document so that it automatically appears at the top of each page of text.
(2) On your Title Page, please give both their authors their academic qualifications.
(3) On your Title Page, please give full Contact Details for the corresponding author.
(4) In your manuscript text, please number your references in the reference list and then in the text use only
superscript reference numbers without brackets when referring to references.
(5) Line Numbering should continue through the reference list and figure legends and reviewers may make comment
on these parts of the text too.
(6) Doi numbers are missing from references Farron, Gillespie, Nyffeler, and Shapiro. Please note PubMed does not
have all the answers! Individual journal websites do.
