What: Woman’s Intro to Basic Pistol
• Weapons Safety • Equipment and Ammo selection • 8 Principles/Fundamentals of pistol marksmanship • Intro to the draw • Shooting positions and posture • Malfunctions types and ways to clear and reduce • Florida CCW laws and regulations • Dry fire training • Slow Aimed Fire drills • Live fire accuracy shooting drills • Malfunction Definition and Clearance • Cleaning a firearm
When: Start time 9:00am sharp (Eastern Standard Time). (I will have a big orange cooler of ice water, but bring at least a water container). The course calls for 50 rounds pistol ammo*; total time 3-‐hour course. But if you want to shoot extra drills, bring a little more ammo (optional) *JTA will have 50 rd. boxes of ammo at $15 ea.
Where: Premier Kenpo Karate, 1122 10th Street, Saint Cloud, FL 34769. After classroom instruction, we will then move to the range located about 16 minutes away.
After the classroom portion we will then drive to the range. It’s about a 16-‐minute drive traffic dependent. The range address is: 4300 Lake Gentry Rd, St Cloud, FL 34772 This a private range.

Why: Course Description This course is designed for women that have little to no experience in the use of firearms, especially the pistol. You will learn safety, the two basic types of pistols, the components, what makes up a “bullet”, how to hold it, how to shoot it accurately, and more safety. You will also have the opportunity to shoot various pistols to find the right one for you, methods of carry, and last but not least, even more safety. At the end of the day, you will be knowledgeable and comfortable in the use of a pistol, able to draw and accurately fire and hit a target, and understand the importance of safety when dealing with firearms. Upon the successful completion of this course, you will be provided with a Certificate of Attendance that meets the Florida requirements for obtaining a CCW license. Special Instructions: Hardware/Kit Required Equipment • Pistol in good working condition (several pistols will be available for use) • Minimum 50 rounds* • Minimum 1x Pistol magazines • 2 magazine pistol pouch (optional) • Holster (optional) • Comfortable attire appropriate for range and weather • Cleaning kit/supplies (optional) • Water container with plenty of water • Eye and Ear protection • Good attitude
Fill out your Waiver and bring it to class Final course cost will be due the morning before the classroom training total $89.00 (*unless you need to purchase ammunition at $15/box) We have room for more; if any of you have someone that wants to attend then just let us know. Please bring plenty of liquids as it will be hot. Bring snacks also as we may go past lunch time. Notes: We want everyone to be safe and enjoy the training provided by JTA. I ask 3 things of you to do and remember: 1) Every time YOU pick up a firearm, YOU must verify it is unloaded. Yes, even if you watched someone else verify it right in front of you, YOU still must ensure it is unloaded. 2) Finger off the trigger unless you're looking through the sights. Period. 3) When demonstrating with firearms, please do not "sweep or flag" your hand, your feet, or those around you with the muzzle of the gun. "Why does this matter if the guns are unloaded!??"...... Sweeping or flagging is the biggest mistake people make without even knowing they're doing it. We at Jedburgh Tactical Applications offer the latest in firearms training and advanced marksmanship. Our instructors have fine-‐tuned their skills in marksmanship through countless hours of training and on the field of battle. Our Marksmanship Program provides insight into advancing yourself as a shooter and marksman. With our instructors coming from a multitude of backgrounds including Military, Law Enforcement, medical professionals, and Competition Shooting, JTA provides expertise that is invaluable. Whether a beginner new to firearms who wants to learn basic fundamentals or advanced shooters wishing to improve their skills in all aspects of tactical shooting, JTA is Central Florida’s leader in advanced tactical firearms training.

(We will have several box’s on-hand for this course) Registration Fee Policy: Please understand that Jedburgh Tactical Applications, LLC purposely keeps classes small for the benefit of their students, therefore no reservation will be held for you and you will not be registered for the class until the fee has been received. Refund Policy: If your class is canceled, your registration fee is fully refundable. Waiver of Liability & Course Agreement

Within this Agreement; both parties have discussed the training outline and cost and liability agreement. Jedburgh Tactical Applications will complete the training Period of Instruction (POI) for________________________
1. I hereby voluntarily release and forever discharge Jedburgh Tactical Applications for any liability whatsoever for accidents, injury, loss of life, loss or damage to property whether as a result of negligence, gross negligence, omissions or failure to guard or warn against dangerous conditions, use, structure or activity, or any other cause, arising out of my participation in any activity with Jedburgh Tactical Applications equipment, facilities or training instructions. I further covenant and agree not to institute any suit or action at law or otherwise against Jedburgh Tactical Applications or the property owners at 4300 Lake Gentry Rd. St Cloud Florida 34772 and agree to hold harmless and indemnify Jedburgh Tactical Applications and facility owners against any loss, claim (including, any claim by a third party against Jedburgh Tactical Applications that may be injured as a result of my participation in this activity), damage, or expense, including attorneys’ fees and court costs, which Jedburgh Tactical Applications may sustain as a result of my participation in any activity equipment, facilities or training instructions. Should Jedburgh Tactical Applications or anyone acting on their behalf, be required to incur attorney’s fees and costs to enforce this agreement, I agree to indemnify and hold them harmless for all such fees and costs.__________Int.
2. I certify that I have adequate insurance to cover any injury or damage I may cause or suffer while participating, or I agree to bear the cost of such injury or damage myself. I further certify that I have no medical or physical condition that could interfere with my safety in this activity, or else I am willing to assume and bear the cost of all risk that may be created, directly or indirectly, by any such condition.__________Int.
3. In the event that I file a lawsuit against Jedburgh Tactical Applications, I agree to do so solely in the state of Florida. I further agree that the substantive law of the state of Florida shall apply in any such action without regard to conflict of law rules of that state.__________Int.

By signing this document, I acknowledge that if I am hurt or my property is damaged while taking instruction or use of equipment of Jedburgh Tactical Applications, I agree that it is my intention to have waived my right to maintain a lawsuit against Jedburgh Tactical Applications and relieve Jedburgh Tactical Applications from liability for personal injury, property damage or wrongful death on the basis of any claim from which I have released them herein.__________Int.
