There's nothing better than teaching brilliant, motivated students about these ever growing industries. Our Christchurch campus is putting on an amazing selection of courses these holidays – we're even running a couple of our favourite courses twice to make sure no one misses out!

Each course is perfect for beginners and we'll provide all the equipment required. So let's get creative!

Photography Architecture & PortraitsElevate your photography skillsLearn how to overcome the limitations of our lenses when photographing architecture by controlling perspective and lens distortion issues – to keep your buildings looking straight! Plus, how using abstraction to add interest before going into the field to explore this aspect further. Then learn how to take a great portrait by looking at how natural light can enhance facial features, how posing can influence your images and what complimentary compositions to use. provider and our courses offer great opportunities for students to develop their creative abilities and learn new

skills and techniques in the ever-changing world of design.

STAR funding can be allocated to students as we provide them with

relevant and coherent learning experiences aligned to vocational

pathways.

We'll bring the snacks!Each class will receive a few treats

from us, but we do recommend each student brings their own packed lunch,

or money to buy something!

Each campus has facilities to make hot drinks and basic food. We're also close

to supermarkets, dairies and food courts – we recommend checking

in with our Coordinators to see what's near and make your

plan accordingly!

are working in the industry.

We have professional filmmakers, designers, and artists all willing to

share their work experience with you.

The new campus is located on 573 Colombo Street, and will be open for the July School Holiday Programmes.

The campus is walking distance from the Christchurch Bus Interchange on Lichfield St and is even closer to the South City Shopping Centre, 555 Colombo St.

It’s a very cool campus, centrally located for easy access and has been carefully designed to ensure teaching environments are inspiring creative learning.

To launch and celebrate the new building, we’ve tripled the number of STAR School Holiday Programmes offered for secondary school students in July at Yoobee Christchurch!
