About International Summer School International Summer School is a three-week, fun-filled English-taught program which serves as an introduction to business studies while allowing students to enjoy their summer break in Barcelona and make friends from all over the world. The program takes place in July and August at EU Business School (EU) and is specifically designed for high school students aged 16 to 18 who are interested in and considering studying business for their bachelor’s degree. For three weeks, students get a taste of business studies at college level as the academic content has been adapted from EU’s first-year bachelor’s curriculum and is taught by EU’s high-caliber lecturers and business leaders.

Classes are delivered in the morning and are followed by social and cultural activities in the afternoon to provide students with a truly enriching experience. From sports to sightseeing tours and day trips to the coast, these exciting outings help students learn more about Spanish culture and build a network of lifelong international friendships.

The EU campus is located in the safe and exclusive upper business district, within easy reach of the Plaça Catalunya and with easy access to the beach and Barcelona’s main sights.

Students who have successfully completed International Summer School will be awarded an end-of-course certificate and those who subsequently apply to a degree program at EU Business School will be granted a scholarship.

Requirements

**Students under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. EU can assist in arranging a guardianship for the duration of the program for a fee of €500.

Applicants must be 16-18** and must present evidence of the following:

• High school transcripts

• Proof of English level: TOEFL score 80 (internet-based), 213 (computer-based); IELTS 6.0; CAE B2 with a minimum score of 169; PTE 57; EU Business School English placement test; English native or equivalent

Applications are reviewed individually and students are accepted on a rolling basis while places are available.

International Summer School students stay at the luxury Sarria Student Residence situated just a 10-minute walk from campus in one of the safest and most affluent areas of Barcelona. Full-board accommodation in twin rooms is included in the price.

Single rooms are available upon request, on a first-come first-serve basis at an additional cost.
