COMMUNITARIAN
“A Communitarian is a person defined mostly by a social community. . .”
My social community is those believers who believe in Our Country. America the
beautiful. Land of the Free. Land of the brave. Where each person is provided a
choice of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Where our shores and borders are
entry points to those willing to accept and follow the American way of life. A place
where opportunity is only limited by one’s ability to dream big, plan well, work hard,
smile always and receive good things.
We believe that with faith we are able to see the invisible, grasp the intangible and
receive the impossible.
We believe in our soldiers as they carry out their duties here, there and everywhere
around the world. Keep them safe. Bless their families for allowing them to go and for
their sacrifices.
We believe that the paths of our forefathers deserve to be recognized and respected.
We believe that consideration and application to today’s world needs to be made. We
believe that appropriate adjustments and changes need to be made to insure that the
bounty and beauty of our land, forests, wild creatures and plants, lakes, rivers, streams
and seas be preserved and maintained for today, tomorrow and for generations to
come.
We believe we need to strive to become better individuals in our relationships and in our
daily lives. We recognize and acknowledge that we are but human and therefore
imperfect. We believe that we must be open and receptive to new ideas and ways of
thinking and to have an everlasting desire and thirst to learn.
We believe and accept our blessings in good times and when times are bad we are
confident in ourselves and with support of family and friends we can and are able find
solutions to any and all problems or challenges we are faced with.
We are optimists in this real world.
We believe in not taking ourselves too seriously and that humor, a warm smile and a
hug are the best remedies for the human soul.
We believe that Hawaii is the best place in the world to live, work and play.
We Pledge Our Allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, One Nation
under God with Liberty and Justice for all.
