July 4, 2015 Family-Friendly Independence Day Celebration Activities

SCHEDULE FOR THE DAY

7:30am – 3:00pm Farmers Market parking lot on the corner of 3rd and Cedar Streets.

8:00am – 10:30am Kids First Fund Pancake Breakfast in First National Bank’s Walnut Room (corner of 2nd St & Walnut).

9:00am – 9:45am Kids Dress-up Parade from First National Bank to the Musser Public Library.

9:45am – 3:00pm Kids and Family Activities at the Farmers Market parking lot on the corner of 3rd and Cedar Streets (including food vendors).

12:00noon – 3:00pm Live music: Flash in the Pan at the Farmers Market.

3:30pm – 6:00pm Live music: Ernie Peniston and the Curtis Hawkins Band

on the Stanley Consultants Plaza on the corner of 3rd St. and Iowa Ave.

5:00pm Parade (starts at Iowa Ave. and 6th St.)

6:00pm – 7:30pm Musical Entertainment and outdoor dining options provided at different downtown establishments.

7:30pm Reading of the Declaration of Independence and Presentation of Colors

8:00pm Muscatine Symphony Orchestra

9:30pm Fireworks
