From the director: I would like to extend my sincere thanks to the over 75 center members who
were in attendance when the MCS Consulting Group facilitated a site review. This was
the final component of a several month process in substantiating our validity and
mission to the Lake County senior community as well as the Painesville area. What an
honor it was to answer their question “What are all these people here for?” with the
response “They are here for you.” Your presence spoke volumes for this organization!
I also wish to acknowledge Board Member Carol Fleck’s effort in lobbying
attendees and compiling a collection of member statements voicing their personal
support of the Painesville Center, as well as the members who contributed to it.
That booklet was presented to the consultants as well as Painesville City Council, The
County Commissioners and Painesville Township Trustees. Let’s continue this patronage!
