Bagong Idol ng Wish Ko Lang!

One may say that money is the answer to all the numerous tragic problems in the world. Sadly, all of us seem money-driven. But as the poor continues to be left behind, more people in power take over humanity. What is there to trust and hope for? A renewed government? Quality education? More

jobs? More local opportunities? Filipino youth depend on the adage, “Ang kabataan ang pag-asa ng bayan.” In a scripted scenario showcased by a TV program of GMA7, Wish Ko Lang!, we were moved by our fellow Adamsonians. Aired on the 28th of June, three inspiring students portrayed their inner hero potentials through a short set-up. It was a fine afternoon beside the St.Vincent Parish Church. to make a rain check.” And as little as you think the cold weather may be affecting us. A 2008 Michigan study stated that more than 50% of Americans admitted to bear negative feelings when they encounter rain. Moreover, melatonin, a hormone our body

produces when we get exposed to the sun, was proven to be partly responsible for setting our moods up. This explains the sudden mood changes some of us experience when dark clouds fleet over. In addition to these scientific findings, floods, which amount tocongestedtrafficandimpassablewalkways, burdenusinwaysthatcanruinourday.Andwhile some of you may have other reasons why the rain gets in your nerve, here are a couple of things that might just make you see the brighter side of this gloomy day-ender.
