Communion to the Homebound At this point, Communion to the homebound should only be offered as viaticum for when the person is near death. —As per the Diocese of Wheeling Charleston
Not just anybody is allowed to talk to an important person. Busy people are stingy with their time. How much red tape is involved with trying to get an interview to discuss something that is troubling you with your mayor, your state senator, the CEO of a large corporation? Perhaps the closest contact will be through a secre-tary. But there are no go-betweens when you talk to the Lord. Jesus, present in the Blessed Sacrament in our Adoration Chapel does not stand on His dignity; He is never too busy for anyone. You need only present your problems to find a ready Listener. He will receive you any-time of the day or night at your conven-ience. No Appointment Necessary! When you are a register as a Guardian and take a particular hour you make it possible for others to visit the Chapel anytime. To schedule an hour call Mary Evkovich 304-374-6170, Cindy Oliver 304-748-5093, Paulette Nagy 304-748-0688 Mary Snyder 740-219-4239 or Car-olyn Shaffer 304-748- 0766. Sign up sheets are also in the back of the church..
Sunday Envelopes- $ 4499.00
Sunday Offertory- $ 532.00
Online - $ 1350.00
St. Paul School is currently accepting applications for a janitorial/custodial position. For more information please call the school at 304-784-5225, or send a resume to [email protected].
Are you looking to purchase crypt space? St. Paul Cemetery recently did an inventory of their available spaces and they found a Companion Crypt space available in the old mausoleum. If you or anyone you know are interested, please call Darlene Law at 304-723-0622. Payment plans are available.
St Paul School is holding open enrollment July 21 & 22 from 10 am—1pm and 3pm—6pm. Please call the school at 304-748-5225 to schedule an appointment and a tour if needed. The school is working closely with the Diocese and state and local government to ensure the safety of our students, faculty, and staff. If you are in need of uniform skirts, tops, pants, etc. there is a table set up for your convenience.
St Paul Church is looking to add another volunteer ministry to our current list. We would like to get a list of people willing to drive someone to appointments, grocery store, pharmacy, etc. If you are willing to be added to this list please call the church office and let us know. While we do not receive a lot of calls on this matter, we have gotten enough that we feel a committee should be created. Please call the church office if you would like to be added to the list.
There is still space available on our Tree
of Life. If you would like to purchase a
leaf, stone, or mini tree please contact
the church office. We also have plenty of
space available for memorial tiles across
the back wall of the church.
