Details: We will meet at the VCF Church Office* on Sun, July 15 at 8:30 a.m. Return on Sat, July 21 at the VCF church office* about 5:00 p.m. Transportation will be van(s) with counselors driving. Hume is about 6 hours away east of Fresno. A parent contact will email parents that we arrived safely and when we leave camp. Camp activities: Sleep in a real covered wagon, Fort, Archery, BB guns, Rappelling, Canoes, Huge treehouse, Pool, Giant swing, Great food & games, Campfire Worship, and biblical teaching! Wagon Train is a closed camp for the safety of every camper.

What do I need to do? Get parent(s) permission to go. Register & make payments online at: http://vcfconnect.org/children/kids-camp (applications for partial scholarships are on website). Invite a friend. Pay 2nd deposit by May 1, 2018 and balance by June 26, 2018. Turn in required VCF medical release & health check forms, as well as any medications clearly labeled with name & instructions). What do I bring? Each camper can bring 1 small suitcase or medium duffel, sleeping bag, pillow, & backpack. Please put camper’s name on everything as things tend to get lost otherwise. :) Pants, shorts, tops, hooded sweatshirt, extra socks, underclothes Bible, pen, notebook, flashlight with extra batteries Sleeping bag, pillow, & stuffed animal if like, PJs, toiletries, towel, & washcloth Sunscreen, bug spray , beach towel, Swimsuit (one-piece for girls or wear t-shirt over) Athletic shoes & shoes that can get wet; slip-on shoes for bathroom runs/shower/pool only Decorating supplies for wagon, disposable camera (optional) with name on it Lunch money for trip up and trip back (can be turned in to counselor for safekeeping). Electronic devices are not allowed at camp.
