Borrowed from Bethany? A new simple procedure has been estab-
lished here at Bethany to aide in keeping track
of church items.
You may have noticed the clipboards in the
kitchen, library, and church office for tracking
borrowed items. If you will put your name, item
borrowed, and the date(s) on the yellow pa-
per, then any member can look to see who
may have borrowed what they are looking for.
Please be sure to sign the
item back in when you return it
to it’s space. Thank you for
your help with this!

How Far will You Go ...
...To Be Faithful to God?
That's a question Abram had to answer before
he became Abraham and the father of a new
nation.
The story is told in Genesis 12:1-9. It's what the
Bible Study class will be talking about Sunday.
Abram had a long walk ahead of him, but he
remained faithful to the challenge God put on
him.
It's a question we will be wrestling with as we
meet Sunday at 9:30. Would you like to join
us?
A Special Request
Bethany Disciples Women needs
help collecting plastic silverware now. Please
start saving any pre-packaged, take-out silver-
ware that you don’t use. They are perfect for
the “Pack-A-Sack” meals that will be
assembled at the Northeast Area
Women’s Retreat on October 5 and 6.
There will be a collection box
in the fellowship hall containing a
sample “Pack-A-Sack” for you to see.
Thank you in advance for your help.
The first Disciples Women's meeting for the year will be
August 14 at 6:00 p.m. at Bethany Church. It will be a salad
supper. Each person bring your favorite
salad!
