St. Theresa Catholic Church
Dear Parishioners, Summer is in full swing! With the Fourth of July behind us, it feels like the summer is going by way too fast... Someone reminded me that with so many folks going on vacation, I should offer a reminder about getting to Mass. Most of you probably know that you can get local Mass times wherever you might be headed by checking out any number of websites, like www.catholicmasstime.org, for example. While we often talk about the dangers of technology in our lives, it can also be a big help in practic-ing our Faith in the modern day! Please try to keep up with your enve-lopes when you go away. We really depend on the donations we receive each week to cover the many costs of running a big parish. (Faith Direct is a great alternative to weekly giving.) May God bless you -- and keep you safe! Sincerely in Christ,

Calling All Men of the Parish to the Men’s Discipleship Group
•Only 26% of Catholic men consider themselves to be practicing Catholics. •83% of Catholic men rarely or never participate in a parish activity outside of the Mass. •70-90% of catechesis, charitable work, and Bible studies are led by women. If you’re comfortable with these statis-tics, then the St. Theresa Men’s Disci-pleship Group is not for you. However, if you’re a Catholic man who’s inter-ested in learning more about what it means to be a disciple of Christ and is looking to do so within the company of like-minded men in our parish, then give us a try. We meet at 5pm on Sun-day evenings in the parish meeting rooms. For more info, contact: Antho-ny Renzette, [email protected], or Matt Noah, [email protected].
[*Statistics taken from the Catholic Man-Crisis Factsheet.] Wednesday Morning Women’s Discipleship Group
We will meet all summer from 9:35-11am in the North Conference Room, down the hall to the left of the Church Office. Please join us for contempla-tion of next Sunday’s gospel as well as Study and Discussion of the book Anatomy of Peace. Books available for $8.
