He is a 24-year-old male, 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs 220 pounds. He has brown eyes and black hair. He was last known to be living in Emporia. L. Doris Traw, 88, formerly of Emporia, died Sunday, July 6, 2014, at the Windsor Place Care Center, Iola. Lela Doris Williamson, the youngest of 11 children of Arthur Eben and Laura May (Sime) Williamson, was born in rural Hartford Sept. 10, 1925. She married Paul R. Traw at Burlington on April 9, 1944. He died May 4, 1996. Surviving members of the family include three sons, Dennis (Rena) Traw, Empo- ria, Pastor Steven P. Traw, Iola, and Rex B. (Linda) Traw, Tulsa, Okla.; three sisters, Bessie McCartney, Emporia, Lena Griffin, Burlington, and Jean Richards, Torrance, Ca- lif.; six grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers and four sis- ters. Mrs. Traw worked for In- terstate Bakeries/Dolly Mad- ison Cake in Emporia for 21 years, retiring in 1990. She graduated from Strawn (Kansas) High School, and was valedictorian of her class of three. She attended Kansas State Normal School (ESU) in Emporia and taught one year in the Otter Creek Elementary School in rural Coffey County. She was a member of Flint Hills Chris- tian Church, Emporia. Funeral services were 2 p.m. Thursday in the Cha- pel of Flint Hills Christian Church, Emporia. The ser- vice was conducted by Pastor Bob Robison, Madison Chris- tian Church. Burial followed in the Strawn Cemetery, Cof- fey County, Kansas. Memorials have been estab- lished with the Allen County Hospice (Iola) or the Emporia Alzheimer’s Support Group. Theft The theft of two Bushnell trail cameras, a Tasco trail camera and a mule tree deer feeder was reported on July 1. The items were reported to be stolen on June 21 between 5:45 and 6:22 p.m. The theft oc- curred at 775 18th Road, Bur- lington. The estimated value of the items stolen is $399. The victim of the theft is Marc A. Newkirk, Burlington. Offense report An offense was reported July 7, happening between 9:12 and 11:30 p.m. at Inter- state 35, mile post 154, against the State of Kansas. Offenses occurred included possession of hallucinogenic drug, use/ possess with intent to use drug paraphernalia into hu- man body, liquor; purchase/ consumption of alcoholic li- quor/CMB by minor and un- lawful use of driver’s license. Description of property found includes one ounce of green, leafy vegetation, four pipes with residue, rolling papers, a scale and a fictitious ID. Injury accidents Carmen Jolene Scott, 49, Yates Center, was traveling northbound on Hwy. 75, three- tenths mile north of 15th Road, in her 2001 Mercedes when a vehicle in front of her stopped to turn into a private driveway. She did not see the vehicle’s turn signal, and made an evasive turn to the left, putting her in the south- bound lane, where she col- lided with a 2007 Dodge Chal- lenger driven by Casey Wade Green, 32, Burlington. Green and one of his passengers, Al- len Dale Bush, 58, Williams- burg, were both wearing seat belts and were uninjured, but the third passenger, Ralph Lenord Bass, 52, LeRoy, also wearing a seat belt, was transported by ambulance to Coffey County Hospital with possible injuries. Scott and her passengers, Maria V. Ji- menz, 12, Yates Center, and Zeno J. Jimenz, 11, Yates Cen- ter, were wearing seat belts and were uninjured. Both vehicles sustained disabling damage and were removed by a towing company. The ac- cident occurred at 11:35 a.m. Monday, July 7. Stephanie Marie Reavis, 39, Gridley, was traveling north on Juneberry Road, two- tenths mile north of Ninth Road, when she lost control of her 2001 Ford pickup on the gravel. She left the road- way to the right, crossed back over the center line and ran off the roadway to the left, where she overturned the vehicle, coming to rest on the driver’s side. Reavis was ejected and pinned under the pickup. Reavis was wearing a seat belt, but suffered dis- abling injuries. Her passen- gers, Brenna R. Reavis, 12, Gridley, and Austin W. Rea- vis, 3, Gridley, were properly restrained and received pos- sible injuries. Austin was ex- tracted from the vehicle. The accident occurred at 9 a.m. Sunday, July 6. Reavis’ pick- up received disabling damage and was removed from the scene by a towing company. Michael Kent Bahr, 59, Grid- ley, was driving a 2011 Honda ATV four wheeler at the in- tersection of First Street and Emmer Road, when he lost control and was unable to stop due to excessive speed. He proceeded through the intersection and was ejected from the ATV into a barbed wire fence, damaging the fence and which had to be cut from him to be removed. He fled the scene and was cited the next day. The accident oc- curred at 9:47 p.m. Saturday, July 5. Bahr was injured in the ejection. He was given three citations. The owner of the damage barbed wire fence and bean field is Jared M. Ec- ton, Gridley. Katherine Elizabeth Diehl, 21, Prairie Village, was north- bound on Interstate 35 in the passing lane, 2.8 miles east of Fauna Road, when the 2000 Honda CRV she was driving went off the left shoulder. Diehl overcorrected and lost control, causing the vehicle to enter the right ditch and roll over numerous times. Diehl was wearing a seat belt and suffered disabling inju- ries. Her vehicle, registered to Robert P. Diehl, Prairie Village, was destroyed and towed from the scene. Diehl was estimated to be traveling at 75 mph at the time of im- pact. The accident occurred at 5:31 p.m. Sunday, June 29. Van and trailer overturn Kelly S. Orndorff, 49, An- gel Fire, New Mexico, was traveling north on Interstate 35, 1.23 miles west of Hwy. 75, when the 2000 Dodge van she was driving struck tire de- bris on the roadway, causing the trailer she was pulling to swing. She was unable to re- gain control of her vehicle, and it rolled onto the pas- senger side. It is unknown if Orndorff was wearing a seat belt, but she was not injured. Orndorff’s passengers, Logan B. Orndorff, 47, Corey Jane Orndoff, 17, and Abbey Eliza- beth Orndorff, 13, all of An- gel Fire, New Mexico, were wearing seat belts and were uninjured. Property damage to her vehicle, which is reg- istered to Logan B. Orndorff, Angel Fire, New Mexico, and trailer, exceeded $1,000. The accident occurred at 5:40 p.m., Thursday, July 3. Deer accident Viola R. Wilson, 75, Hart- ford, was driving westbound in a 2008 Cadillac Escalade on 16th Road, two-tenths mile west of Blackbird Lane, when a deer crossed the road in front of her. She struck the deer, which ran away. Property damage to Wilson’s vehicle exceeded $1,000. She was wearing a seat belt and was uninjured. The accident occurred at 4:57 p.m. Monday, June 30. County Commission BURLINGTON — The Cof- fey County Commission will meet in regular session at 9 a.m. Monday, July 14, at the courthouse. Offense report An offense was reported July 7, happening between 9:12 and 11:30 p.m. at Inter-state 35, mile post 154, against the State of Kansas. Offenses occurred included possession of hallucinogenic drug, use/possess with intent to use drug paraphernalia into hu-man body, liquor; purchase/consumption of alcoholic li-quor/CMB by minor and un-lawful use of driver’s license. Description of property found includes one ounce of green, leafy vegetation, four pipes with residue, rolling papers, a scale and a fictitious ID.

Injury accidents Carmen Jolene Scott, 49, Yates Center, was traveling northbound on Hwy. 75, three-tenths mile north of 15th Road, in her 2001 Mercedes when a vehicle in front of her stopped to turn into a private driveway. She did not see the vehicle’s turn signal, and made an evasive turn to the left, putting her in the south-bound lane, where she col-lided with a 2007 Dodge Chal-lenger driven by Casey Wade Green, 32, Burlington. Green and one of his passengers, Al-len Dale Bush, 58, Williams-burg, were both wearing seat belts and were uninjured, but the third passenger, Ralph Lenord Bass, 52, LeRoy, also wearing a seat belt, was transported by ambulance to Coffey County Hospital with possible injuries. Scott and her passengers, Maria V. Ji-menz, 12, Yates Center, and Zeno J. Jimenz, 11, Yates Cen-ter, were wearing seat belts and were uninjured. Both vehicles sustained disabling damage and were removed by a towing company. The ac-cident occurred at 11:35 a.m. Monday, July 7. Stephanie Marie Reavis, 39, Gridley, was traveling north on Juneberry Road, two-

tenths mile north of Ninth Road, when she lost control of her 2001 Ford pickup on the gravel. She left the road-way to the right, crossed back over the center line and ran off the roadway to the left, where she overturned the vehicle, coming to rest on the driver’s side. Reavis was ejected and pinned under the pickup. Reavis was wearing a seat belt, but suffered dis-abling injuries. Her passen-gers, Brenna R. Reavis, 12, Gridley, and Austin W. Rea-vis, 3, Gridley, were properly restrained and received pos-sible injuries. Austin was ex-tracted from the vehicle. The accident occurred at 9 a.m. Sunday, July 6. Reavis’ pick-up received disabling damage and was removed from the scene by a towing company. Michael Kent Bahr, 59, Grid-ley, was driving a 2011 Honda ATV four wheeler at the in-tersection of First Street and Emmer Road, when he lost control and was unable to stop due to excessive speed. He proceeded through the intersection and was ejected from the ATV into a barbed wire fence, damaging the fence and which had to be cut from him to be removed. He fled the scene and was cited the next day. The accident oc-curred at 9:47 p.m. Saturday, July 5. Bahr was injured in the ejection. He was given three citations. The owner of the damage barbed wire fence and bean field is Jared M. Ec-ton, Gridley. Katherine Elizabeth Diehl, 21, Prairie Village, was north-bound on Interstate 35 in the passing lane, 2.8 miles east of Fauna Road, when the 2000 Honda CRV she was driving went off the left shoulder. Diehl overcorrected and lost control, causing the vehicle to enter the right ditch and roll over numerous times. Diehl was wearing a seat belt and suffered disabling inju-ries. Her vehicle, registered to Robert P. Diehl, Prairie Village, was destroyed and towed from the scene. Diehl was estimated to be traveling

at 75 mph at the time of im-pact. The accident occurred at 5:31 p.m. Sunday, June 29.

Van and trailer overturn Kelly S. Orndorff, 49, An-gel Fire, New Mexico, was traveling north on Interstate 35, 1.23 miles west of Hwy. 75, when the 2000 Dodge van she was driving struck tire de-bris on the roadway, causing the trailer she was pulling to swing. She was unable to re-gain control of her vehicle, and it rolled onto the pas-senger side. It is unknown if Orndorff was wearing a seat belt, but she was not injured. Orndorff’s passengers, Logan B. Orndorff, 47, Corey Jane Orndoff, 17, and Abbey Eliza-beth Orndorff, 13, all of An-gel Fire, New Mexico, were wearing seat belts and were uninjured. Property damage to her vehicle, which is reg-istered to Logan B. Orndorff, Angel Fire, New Mexico, and trailer, exceeded $1,000. The accident occurred at 5:40 p.m., Thursday, July 3.

Deer accident Viola R. Wilson, 75, Hart-ford, was driving westbound in a 2008 Cadillac Escalade on 16th Road, two-tenths mile west of Blackbird Lane, when a deer crossed the road in front of her. She struck the deer, which ran away. Property damage to Wilson’s vehicle exceeded $1,000. She was wearing a seat belt and was uninjured. The accident occurred at 4:57 p.m. Monday, June 30.
