NGO Donetsk institute of information was founded by journalists and volunteers at the end of 2009 in order to: strengthen independent media, promptly provide public with objective and impartial information without censorship on the political, economic and social situation in the Donetsk region
2. 2. A number of visitors to our information web page reaches 150 000 people per day

DonbasPublicTV (DPTV) (March 2014) is a Donbas journalists initiative aimed to create an independent public TV online The project is important in terms of lack of the objective information on the situation in Donbas region. DonbasPublicTV is providing news for civil population in the eastern Ukraine where free access to media resources is currently hindered due to the armed conflict.
4. 4. The primary task of DPTV is to inform, promote openness and independence of media space in the region, responsibility to the audience. Our audience: Residents of Donbass which remain on the territory controlled by the DPR Population of Donbass residing on the territory controlled by Government Temporarily displaced persons
