1. Review of the By-Laws

D Sewell read out the BYLAWS

See Attached

#1. Passed – 14 in favor – Nil against.


#3. Proposed addition to be made to the by-law – (to be added as a final statement) “A medical certificate would be required in the case of life threatening terminal illness or significant disability.”

Passed – 13 in favor – 1 against.




Helen Sheather to make amendment to the Constitution and Belinda to bring to next meeting for inclusion

Principal’s Report

- Congratulated the P&F for a great year especially the leadership of Belinda McLeod.

- Proud of the Jubilee P&F and the passion they have for the improvement and wellbeing of the school.

- The P&F add quality value to the school

- Dave acknowledged the input and commitment to the school from local councilors and MP’s especially Sid Cramp and Tracy Gilmore in particular.

- Appreciation in the partnership and support the P&F have shown and given to staff professional development (continual training with Andrea)

- Excited for the future year to come.

Executive

- Current leadership team stood down – Meeting was handed to Dave Sewell.

6. Committee Processed nominations for the New Executive Committee:

President:

Prior nomination from Belinda McLeod

It was moved that Belinda was to be appointed

14 in favor - No objections made

Vice President:

Prior nomination from Jane Bourke

It was moved that Jane was to be appointed


Secretary:

Prior nomination from Nicola Smith

It was moved that Nicola was to be appointed




Treasurer:

Prior nominations from Brad Roberts and Sharon Hutchinson

Dave read an email from Sharon (not in attendance) that if Brad nominated she would retract her nomination for the position – so a vote did not have to take place.

Sharon would be willing to take on the role in the future event of the treasurer resigning from the position due to work commitments

It was moved that Brad Roberts was to be appointed

14 in favor – No objections made

7. Agenda Item 7

Welcome of new committee

Dave Sewell Welcomed the new committee and the meeting was handed over to Belinda McLeod.

8. Agenda Item 8

Review of parental code of conduct.

Dave read out the parent code of conduct – please see attached.

- Agreed that the code of conduct needed amendment to reflect the current Jubilee visions and mission statements.

Dave and leadership team to update and bring to next meeting for inclusion.

9. Agenda Item 9

Appointment of Auditor.

Belinda proposed to stay with Aub Kelly for auditing
