AcknowledgmentPerhaps you sent a lovely card or sat quietly in a chair. Perhaps you sent a floral piece; if so, we saw it there. Perhaps you prayed a sincere prayer or came to pay a call. Perhaps you sang a cheerful song; if so, we heard it all. Perhaps you spoke the kindest words, as any friend could say. Perhaps you prepared a tasty dish, or maybe furnished a car. Perhaps you rendered a service unseen, near at hand or from afar. Whatever you did to console our hearts, by word or deed or touch, whatever
was the kindly part, we thank you, oh so very much. We just want to say thank you.

Your MotherAlthough you cannot hear her voice
Or see her smile no more,Your mother walks beside you still
Just as she did before. She listens to your stories and
She wipes away your tears; She wraps her arms around youAnd she understands your fears.
It’s just she isn’t visibleTo see with human eye,
But talk to her in silence andHer spirit will reply.
You’ll feel the love she has for youYou’ll hear her in your heart; She’s left her human body but
Your souls will never part.
Life ReflectionsThe Lord called Joyce Ann Kirven home on Friday, April 27, 2018. Joyce was born
in Ft. Worth, TX, May 15, 1956, to Lewis Kelly and Willie Mae Wilson. She was preceded in
death by both of her parents.
She was a faithful member of Family Fellowship Church in Italy, TX, until her failing health.
There she dedicated her time, talent and treasure. Joyce was educated in the Ennis ISD. She
married Willie Charles Kirven.
Joyce later moved to Ft. Worth and was employed as a dedicated CAN; she later moved back to
Italy, TX, and worked at various nursing homes. Before Joyce’s health declined, she raised her
grandchildren whom were the center of her joy!
She was a family oriented person, never met a stranger. She loved her siblings, children, and
grandchildren, and would lend a helping hand when and if she could. Joyce loved listening to
her music, cooking your favorite foods, babysitting, cleaning and decorating.
Joyce’s memories will always be cherished by: her husband, Willie Kirven; son, tony Wilson;
daughter, Evelyn Wilson Kirby (Harold); brothers, Jerry Wilson, Royce Wilson (Minnie),
and Michael Wilson; sisters, Ella Marsh and Stephanie Wilson; grandchildren, Christopher
Walker, Dominic Wilson, Kierra Byrd, Alexis Wallace and Adrianne Becks; one uncle, Pastor
L. S. Wilson; one aunt, Louise Younger; a host of cousins, nieces and nephews; and a dear and
special friend, Patrick Anderson.
