Joy in the new school year for underprivileged children 150 children from modest families who are beneficiaries of a project implemented by DGASPC Neamţ started the new school year with the right. They received gifts and new school bags in order to make the start to education one of the most natural and beautiful. The children are the beneficiaries of the project "The local center for mobilizing the local resources for integrated services for the child in difficulty", which takes place in the villages Târgu Neamţ, Pipirig and Răuceşti. The 2017 supplies of stationery and school bags are a continuation of similar activities that took place in previous years and each time surprises were possible due to the generosity of some sponsors as well as the involvement of local communities. Along with other specific services, the distribution of school supplies and school bags is the way to combat school dropout and encourage education. Practically, these children from disadvantaged families are stimulated to continue school because they can only overcome their condition through education alone. In this respect, the project implemented by DGASPC Neamţ in 2015 offers children daily a warm meal and help with lessons in a post-school system, the only condition being the attendance of the courses. The system has already proven to be effective, absenteeism decreasing significantly, and the school performance of children has experienced real progress. "Because one of the most important causes of school dropout is poverty, helping children to go every day in class is a priority for D.G.A.S.P.C. and must therefore be a priority objective for the whole of society. It is obvious that community involvement by donating stationery, clothes, footwear, school bags, etc. can facilitate children's access to education and we are happy to see that more and more people are willing to support the future of these children, "said Cristina Păvăluţă, director of DGASPC Neamţ. The activity is a continuation of the project implemented by DGASPC through the RO10CORAI Program - EEA Financial Mechanism.

150 children from modest families who are beneficiaries of a project implemented by DGASPC

Neamţ started the new school year with the right. They received gifts and new school bags in

order to make the start to education one of the most natural and beautiful. The children are the

beneficiaries of the project "The local center for mobilizing the local resources for integrated

services for the child in difficulty", which takes place in the villages Târgu Neamţ, Pipirig and

Răuceşti. The 2017 supplies of stationery and school bags are a continuation of similar activities

that took place in previous years and each time surprises were possible due to the generosity of

some sponsors as well as the involvement of local communities. Along with other specific services,

the distribution of school supplies and school bags is the way to combat school dropout and

encourage education. Practically, these children from disadvantaged families are stimulated to

continue school because they can only overcome their condition through education alone. In this

respect, the project implemented by DGASPC Neamţ in 2015 offers children daily a warm meal and

help with lessons in a post-school system, the only condition being the attendance of the courses.

The system has already proven to be effective, absenteeism decreasing significantly, and the school

performance of children has experienced real progress. "Because one of the most important causes

of school dropout is poverty, helping children to go every day in class is a priority for D.G.A.S.P.C.

and must therefore be a priority objective for the whole of society. It is obvious that community

involvement by donating stationery, clothes, footwear, school bags, etc. can facilitate children's

access to education and we are happy to see that more and more people are willing to support the

future of these children, "said Cristina Păvăluţă, director of DGASPC Neamţ. The activity is a

continuation of the project implemented by DGASPC through the RO10CORAI Program - EEA

Financial Mechanism.
