To whom it may concern,
This letter is to serve as a recommendation for potential employers of Joseph “Brandon” French.
Currently, Brandon works under my supervision at the Crescent Hill Craft House, a locally
owned and operated, successful restaurant. He has been employed under my supervision for the past six months as he completed his degree requirements.
Brandon has many strengths I believe any employer would find to be valuable to their business
environment. His professionalism and manner with our customer base is highly commendable.
He has a particular knack for handling situations with disgruntled clientele; he remains
respectful while maintaining control of such situations and making decisions in accordance
with standard operating procedures.
Brandon is friendly and outgoing, and from what I have learned of him, is able to relate well to a
diverse range of people. He gets along very well with his coworkers, and has been asked by
management to take on a leadership role in his position to mentor some of his coworkers with
less experience.
Additionally, Brandon takes constructive criticism well. As a relatively new operation, the
Crescent Hill Craft House has had to continuously evolve to meet the ever-changing needs of
our business; throughout these growing pains, myself and other members of management have
regularly evaluated employees and made known our expectations to them. Brandon accepts
such evaluations with much thoughtfulness, and his work reflects the necessary changes
management has requested of him.
Lastly, Brandon is a dedicated and hardworking employee. He has displayed a positive attitude
and maintained a strong work ethic throughout his employment, subscribing to our “team”
policy, in which we promote an atmosphere where everyone works together for a common goal
despite the perceived reward. I believe he would be a valuable asset to any business, with a
remarkable balance of intelligence and people skills.
If you have any questions regarding the potential employment of Mr. French, please feel free to
contact me; I will be happy to answer any additional inquiries.
Sincerely,
Leah S. Zellers Service
