JOB OBJECTIVES ◆ Provide Educational Information to Livestock Producers
◆ Provide the necessary information to educate the Pueblo farmers and ranchers of the USDA agricultural programs available to producers
◆ Provide one-on-one technical and educational assistance to Pueblo farmers and ranchers in business planning and management, loan package preparation, program application preparation and refer participants to appropriate USDA agencies
◆ Organize and develop channels of communication and collaboration between USDA agencies, local community agricultural organizations and Pueblo communities
◆ Develop educational materials and improved educational processes for teaching agriculture production, business planning, finance management, youth development programs and agricultural policy that are appropriate for the target audience and conforms to local custom, culture and tradition

INDIAN LIVESTOCK DAYS LISTENING SESSION
◆ Producers would like to have and participate in more programs like the herd health program.
◆ One producer said he would like to see this program to continue another year.
◆ Some producers requested a similar health care for horses. ◆ One producer hopes that more youth would be involved in agriculture
programs. ◆ Some producers want more educational workshops on a variety of
subjects concerning agricultural issues. ◆ One producer expressed the need for assistance to construct better
working corrals, with better working corrals it provides better working facilities and safer for us.
◆ One producer expressed the needs for a bull selection workshop to help improve their herds. The herd health provided education on diseases that can affect bulls and reduce the calf crop.
◆ Some producers said that they plan on continuing to vaccinate and de- worm their cattle/sheep.
◆ One producer commented that he would like to know more about range management and how to control broomsnake weed on their rangeland.
◆ One producer commented that by having their bulls fertility tested it would help them decide if they should purchase virgin bulls
