He is a Czech horse race rider. Josef Váňa was born on 20th October 1952 in village Slopná at the Zlín edge. Josef Váňa is a big Czech personality, because he won eight races of Velká pardubická steeplechase. He has got a lot of riding and coaching successes. His succesful horse are e.g.: Sixteen, Tiumen, Juventus, Roches Cross, Železník, Vronsky, Cipísek, Decent Fellow… Váňa is famous his optimism of life. He says that in his body there isn‘t a bone, which he hadn‘t broken. He has got three sons with his wife Pavla, one son is a rider too. He is into work with horses and he isn‘t lazy, he is very hard – working.
