Let’s get started!

First, you need to download Jing…


And create an account in

Screencast.com


In your browser, type:


You will see the website


There are 3 ways to download

Choose the Jing version for your computer


For those using Mac, pls. take note of the ff:


For those using Windows, here are the system requirements


Once you click your choice, you will see this screen


If you choose #2…

You will watch a short video


At the end of the video, you will see this


Click “Download Now”


You have 2 options to install


Double click “Auto Install”


Click “Agree”


You will see this screen, click “Open”


When you see this screen, just click “Continue”



You will see this screen, click “Open”

You will see this screen…


Click “Get Started”


You will create an account


Fill-in the details


Click “Create”


On the upper right hand, you will see a “sun”

Great job! You have successfully installed Jing!


Jing is always available at the upper right hand of your screen


Now here’s the FUN part!

Here’s an easy way to take a screen shot


Have an image ready


Click on Jing and 3 rays will appear


Click on the 1st ray


And you will see 2 yellow lines


These lines specify the exact image that you will capture


Click and drag the yellow lines to capture the image


Click “Capture the image” button


This screen will appear


Want to put text on the image?


Click on the Text Button…


And type your message!


To share it with friends…


Click “Share” button


Congratulations! You have uploaded the image in Screencast!


Click Ctl V to paste the link!


You can just copy and paste that link for your friends to click!
