Why is Project Management important to BAE Systems?
• BAE Systems is a company of projects and it is our
projects that deliver profit and shareholder value,
hence:
• Project Management is a strategic capability key to
meeting future business demands
• Delivering to time and cost is fundamental to
continued business performance
• Increasing project complexity requires an
enhanced and broader skill-set to deliver
• Business changing from platform to service based
projects
• This will present a number of challenges for the
Project Management function going forward
